None of this matters at the moment any way guys - with the 5.2 patch tomorrow, HB will be down for at least a week, CC's wont work due to class changes and no one will be able to farm until it comes back anyways.

hb prolly works again on patch dag and every kid on the block will be farming points in bg to gear up.

I appreciate your perspective, but there's really no need to be insulting.
I've managed to avoid the ban hammer for 1 reason, and 1 reason only. Common sense.
It astonishes me that droves of people come out of the woodwork to bitch and complain that their accounts were teleported, banned or suspended after of 22+ hours of farming for materials, automatically posting them to the AH with thousands of auctions - or BG botting the SAME pathed routes for hours upon hours. Even your signature says that you spent 500k in one day, and bot an average of 10-18 hours a day. Yet you call someone else clueless?
On major patches, HB typically takes 2-4 days to be back up and running (with another 2-4 days to work out testing kinks). The CC's won't be updated until the author's learn the changes and recode them - most of those will also be buggy until they get the kinks ironed out. It's just the reality of the situation.
This patch probably comes at the perfect time for the HB community. Ban wave is hitting hard and ironically the patch will cause everyone to slow down and act in moderation for a week or so - maybe it's for the best. It's Darwinian, the people that abuse anything will ultimately contribute to it's downfall - just like drugs, alcohol, or anything else. None-the-less thanks for the input.

You do understand that HB is not free, so when I buy something I wana use it to its fullest potential, so when pple say bot for 6h / day or crap like that, come on get real lol 24/7 for 2 months and then ban is better than 6h/ day for 8 months.
We are botting we gona get baned sooner or later. So if u survive for thos 8 months good for you. But still there is no guarantee that we wont get baned for 6h/ day also.

I agree with you, it's a paid product - so of course it should be supported. In theory that's great, but in reality it's just not going to happen. You could bot 24/7 if you wanted, so in that sense HB is fulfilling it's promise of service. It sounds like your bone of contention is more with WoW than HB. If you're fine with being banned from 24/7 botting, then that's fine - but don't blame HB, blame WoW. It's kind of like drinking alcohol 24/7 simply because it's available then blaming your liver for killing you.

Either way, its the same amount of "botting time". So you're saying that if you bot 24/7 for 2 months is better than 6 hours a day for 8 months? So lets have a theory that you have 2 accounts.
One account you bot 24/7
Second account you bot 6hours per day.
You risk alot more in 24/7 still.. because even if you last 2 months at that rate, you have higher risk of detection and bans. Then if you get banned, you have to start back at 1, and level up again.. and since you like to lvl 24/7 you will most likely be using a leveling profile.. for... 24/7 botting.. While the bot that is being safe at 6 hours a day might last for 8 months with less risk. Have to take into account the time it would take leveling to max on another account, and the possibilities of getting banned on that account within getting max.. since you're doing it 24/7.
While there is no guarantee that you wont get banned on a 6 hour /day rate.. the risk is much much lower than 24/7. Also saves money, and wont dip into any gold selling profits if you sell your gold.

Depends what you use the bot for, if you want to gather just few materials fine, but if you wana make some profit with gold then 24/7 it is, trust me do the math, even if you get baned every 2 months, but these days , bots dont last 2 months thats the main problem.

i cant say that its /who i have so much time on my bot i run it in 30 minutes let it go afk for 5-10 minutes randomise it by flipping a coin then let it run another 30 minutes over and over mean while everyone around me has been banned it makes sence what this guy is saying and also i run a privite profile that i had mad also randomised hotspots i have 7 months people also get banned casue they abuse them

I believe the only reason I wasn't banned on my one botting account its because when I got teleported to nearby hut after gathering node I quickly stopped hb and started to play manually. The op seems to be right, but it might be only one of the means of banning bots.

I do not understand why the buddy team dont admit that there is SOMETHING in honorbuddy that is detected. Not directly the whole program itself,but a part of it. if people are getting banned for all the random shit in the world using any type of bot. There is a reason. Its not just dumb luck regular bans of the week bs.
