Confirm Bottting Detection(as others have posted)

Address "I was teleported and I did not initiate it", address making "stuck" better (much more random in the pattern, different styles of unstucking), and address "game is shutting down and I did not initiate it".

Those things would benefit everyone including the experienced bot users.

No way to expect invisible GM detection, no way to force people to not "over gather", no way to force custom profiles (though I think more could be done on randomizing profiles via XML hints).

Botting will never be safe. I hear it all the time, and I know it is true.

Botting -could- be safer.
 
nahh I was talking with a gm yesterday ban for bot can by aplyed by the number of times your account was flagged as BOT (report player for > Cheating) if the number of time grow you go for a list and the check and you got the perma ban
 
Got 72 hour suspension on unused (unboted) account only after 6-7 hours of gatherbuddy with private profile... REALLY weird..

If you wonder why very few people are taking you seriously, aside from attacking anyone who dares to disagree with you, it's stuff like this quote.

There is no proof here. I'm wondering if you understand what the word "proof" even means. To everyone here, your post is nothing more than, "Believe the unsubstantiated story I made up and have a complete lack of evidence to back up."

There have been some well-known EU GMs who engaged in stuff like this over the years. Anyone who has been botting longer than a year probably knows exactly who I mean.

If your account got banned after using a public profile, I'm sorry to hear it. It can happen. However, you come off like one of those 13 year olds who makes up wild stories about everything and then present them like they're indisputable facts.

Feel free to provide even the tiniest shred of evidence (none of which will be something you type out, just so you know), but until that day the rest of us will continue to lol at you for making up stuff.
 
Well it would be awesome before you flame him to realize that there are a TON more bans now then in recent past. I myself have received two recently and none prior to these. Both on accounts that were running for profiles for 2-4 hours and then taking a 4-6 hour break. Thats what, 8 hours a day, max if i ran profile twice? Both were detected for "hacks". His theory seems a lot more sound to people that barely use it for goldmaking then 'dont run it 16 hours a day and it wont happen', especially with all recent posts quite relevant to the fact of people saying they have SEEN the port occur. Not just one user, but many. Instead of flaming why don't we work together and come up with a solution?

I have never used a public profile (apart from kicks).. As i stated I am a beta tester for a privite profile site... I dont give two fucks about my account that got banned..1 of many accounts.....

Honestly there have been over 10 users today posting the same thing happen to them.. Im just going to ignore you now.. You clearly missing something in life.

You are terrible for the community and should stop trying to defend the oblivious when its clear that they are detecting at a FAR higher rate than any time recently.
 
I to have been teleported by a GM.. I was doing shuffling using blazing in SW.. next think I know I am teleported in the air over Thousand Needles.. I was there when it happened so I immediately /yelled lol fuck you GM.. and I was fine haha.

many others weren't at their computers when stuff like that happened. GMs will continue to abuse HBs lack of teleport detection and keep banning us en masse.
 
I will add my 2 cents here too. I have 2 accounts. Account number 2 was suspended for 72 hours. One week later, I was playing on Account 1 and running on a character in a straight line when suddenly i got thrown 40 yrds back (as per in-game metrics). My theory is that GMs were still watching me if I was botting or not and testing things on me.
 
i lost almost all of my 16 wow accounts, cba posting full story though, bad time for me to try wow i guess
 
You just need to be responsible with your botting. Don't AFK very long, always be watching or near by!

I got careless and got banned on one account, but now I'm running several and have had very little problems so far because I keep doing realistic things: takings "breaks" (stopping my bot and chilling for awhile, you know, things you do when you're sick of questing for 2 hours straight), randomizing your profiles, MAKING YOUR OWN PROFILES!, and use plugins that assist in telling you if a player PMs you.

A rise in bans is probably because it's so damn easy to report botters and hackers now. GMs don't have to do very much until they receive a bunch of reports, then come see that you are in fact being a doofus and AFK botting for the past 16 hours with the same profile and never responding to people around you.

Just my experience anyways.

PS: actually do some things by yourself and without the bot. this would be farming or dailies, etc.. this changes up your routine and makes you look way more human.

PPS: I would also like to see more anti-ban HB features. Things that would automatically randomize events, hotspots, combat engagement, etc.. Just to make things look even more realistic. Not to mention the unstuck feature just SCREAMS "IM A BOT LOL".

Haha they teleported one of my Herbers today, but I had just sat down to check on my bots, hit the stop button right away and stated discussing how weird it was I got moved into a small hut in votfw.

Manually move out and returned herbing no longer then 45 mins it happen again,

This time I summited a ticket asking wtf was going on, got some bs reply that lag was causing it even know I never went close to that hut...

Any one that thinks this isn't happening, is blind.

haha the single bot i managed to stop in time, in the hut of death, got a GM message after a few minutes regarding "lag" too lol
