Chest RunneR - The Most Efficient Legendary Farm!

Hey Malk,

Just a suggestion mate, possible to include a FAQ in a post just below your OP. Possible to ask a admin to insert one in for you to create it.
It should make things easier when certain questions come up, that people should stop being lazy and go read the FAQ

Yes thats it. This run is suppossed to be efficient with the most probale RNG for drops per hour.
If you want it to do more or loot/destroy certain items, you will need to either admend Malk's Profile and/or change trinity settings

i ran this last night for about 10 hours. i averaged over 4 legendaries per hour. ironically i picked up 3 thuderfuries lol

I feel ya, but i figure if people can't understand how forums work these days, let alone read em, I can't be bothered spoon feeding them any further to facilitate their lack of apptitude :p

Edit: To answer that second example which really pisses me off now...

"Did they nerf chest drop rates?"
  • Did you check the D3 forums for an official announcement?
  • Did you bother posting your question there?
  • How the F should I know?? :mad:
Am I wrong to feel this way? :p

You sir have the patience of a saint. I get tired of seeing the same questions over and over and over and over again. This thread has 845 posts and i'm sure that if people just took the time to read even 1/4 of them they would find the answers they are looking for.

^ Not bad. I just wished that the legendaries I got were not shit haha. Still looking for Wand of Woh, Starmetal Kukri, a few Akkhan pieces, and another Furnace for my follower.
 
Chest runs are no longer worth the effort imho. Ever since the ninja nerf from Blizzard, I've been getting no more than 2LPH ( running 24/7) for 4 days
I can get more LPH running Ghom, difference is that while running Ghom, I pick up blues and rares while still making it pretty efficient at 55+ gph, not to mention that you will be getting mad XP while doing them unlike chest runs
 
Is it just me or have they reduced the number of chests that pop in the camp? I'm seeing on average 2 and the rare time 3 chests where as it used to be 3-4 non stop?

here is a clue...

RNG is RNG, you want to look at an average of 12hours + over a month and THEN come back and tell me there is a nerf.

10 crappy runs are 10 crappy runs, when you take a longer sample you will realise just exactly how wrong you are.

Also when did this alleged ninja nerf happen exactly? game hasn't been patched or hotfixed in over 2 weeks.

I swear the level of retarded posts is getting higher by the week in here :(
 
I just level'd crusader up and was going to gear it using this and I don't think so. 2.5 hours thus far of 62 g/h and I have exactly ZERO legs to show for it. Yes all T6 of course. Safe to say they have nerfed it.

YEP, you have completely convinced me!!! 2.5 hours of running this profile is precisely the perfect sample to conclude that the area is indeed nerfed (despite all evidence to the contrary)

Been using this profile mostly for Gem Farming(Got an int+perfect trifesta Xepharian Amulet,except for CHD which I'm trying to roll to 90%+),been using it for days and the lph never goes down below 4,I don't know how people manage to play for hours/days without legs unless trolling.

And my gph is only 52.

I just finished a 20 hour run over a 24 hour period and I was on 5.31 legends per hour on a level 70 crusader with zero magic find.

Also, I modified the latest script to remove all of the OOC controls and let trinity do it for me, it works fine on my end.
