Cheapest PC for multibotting 6+ clients

Nice SS. Few of those aren't logged in so it could climb a little bit but SS should prove you don't need super graphics card to run multiple D3's.

yes 4 of them are actually in menu/loading screen, did not realized that tbh (that why it is at 65% load only i guess)...
but gpu load do average at somewhere near 70% with some spikes here and there (running 10 clients, i was equipping and questing one on another machine)...

but exactly -> in the end it proves that you do not need a super hyper graphic card for multibotting....

Radeon 7850 6 windows GPU 34 % activity. On Radeon 6850 6 windows 90% GPU activity spend the extra 100$ on the newer GPU. (btw on GTX 480 5 windows took 90% GPU Load) so if you go nvidia go 560 or higher. I know this because my 6850s fanned burned out and I bought a GTX 480 a week later returned it and exchanged it for the 7850 which is a HUGE improvement for like 20$ more.

CPU wise.
FX 8150 stock speed Diablo takes 1-2%, DB 2-4%.
Phenom X6 1100T stock speed Diablo takes 3-7%, DB takes 7-10%.
I7 930 Diablo takes 2-5%, DB takes 3-7%.

You will need an I7 or FX 8150 if you wanna bot 6+ and do other stuff on the PC. If you just wanna build a bot PC to run 6+ and do nothing else. I won't get into the whole AMD intel thing again, but you do want cheap so go AMD.

for 6+ id recommend a I7. You need I7 to get 6+ run smooth. I5 can handle 4 maybe 5 to run smooth but not 6++. GPU is not that big of a problem with this game. So cpu all the way, 18 gb of ram (6 bots might use 10gbram) and hdd or ssd, doesnt matter much imo.

That totally not true;

I have

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz ("Running at 4.4GHz OC")
CPU Cooling: CORSAIR H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler ("Keeping it at 26C")
MB: ASUS P8Z77-V PRO
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws 32GB DD3
GPU: GTX 260 <--- very old card. I'm getting GTX 670 tomorrow
PSU 550 Watt <--- weak Getting 1050 Watt tomorrow
HD: 2TB 7200 RPM Hard drive <----- Getting SSD 256GB Hard drive tomorrow ("6GB transfer speed with SATA III connection" make diablo 3 load faster from drive ^.^ )

I'm running at 20 Diablo III Open botting and at CPU USAGE: 43% and Physical Memory Usage: 28% If I wanted I can open more.

So you're running 20 diablo 3s with a GTX 260 ? Screenshot or it didn't happen. I had a GTX 480 and it would run at 90% load with 5 going. Also claiming you can run 20 with a 3570k with DB going on all 20 screenshot or it didnt happen.

haha perfect c0san1j..thats is botting:)
you startet with all 18 at lvl 1? at the same time? how many days did you bot with all these 18 now?

lol no reply O.o I show proof and everyone goes shopping haha XD

I can probably have 50 d3 copies idling at character screen... Running a bot entering/leaving games and such is an entirely different matter.

On I5 3570k can play like 6+ D3? I am thinking to buy new pc, but dont want AMD, and I7 very expensive :)

You don't even have DB loaded. Running 20 bots + DB is a different matter. On a 7850 a way better card every Diablo window at 75x50 resolution takes up 4-7% of the GPU while botting.

ROFL. Sitting at the character screen, not graphics intensive at all. Trying running D3 on all of them in-game and take a picture.

I have a i7-2600k OC'ed, GTX 560 Ti, 16GB DDR3 ram, and am running 6 bots. (Like 40/50 on Cpu/ram load)

The windows gadget says 200MB vRam being used and GPU-Z says ~900MB is being used. Not sure which is correct, but GPU load is around 90% still. Thinking about buying a GTX 570 and moving the 560 Ti to my i5-2500.

Right now 6 bots running on 7850 is 31%. It really is amazing how much of a difference going from one generation to the next is. My 6850s fan went out so I sent it in for RMA which takes 4 weeks so I bought a GTX 480 and 6 windows took 90% load so I returned it and paid 20$ more for the 7850 and the difference is wow.

Running them on ISBoxer @ 150x120 now and GPU load has dropped to like 30% avg. However vRam is still the same (going to try to change to 16bit color).

...it is not deamonbuddy, but that should make not a big difference in gpu load aight?!...

Haha... IB needs less than 2% Cpu per Bot and with the right settings nearly nothing Gpu. DB needs muuuuuuuch more ;) So, if you can run 10x IB on nearly full load. You cant run never ever 10x DB. Fact.

And sidenote: Thats not the lowest possible settings. Lowest settings in Core needs max 300mb Ram per Bot. There are much guides out there you can follow to reduce your Load.

@Smurg: vRam will always be the same if you use 800x600 or lower. But with 16bit it will drop to ~150mb.

@and1mixtape: i5-3570k non-oc can handle with correct settings and 2gb Grafix 12x DB without problems. oc 4,2Ghz can handle 15-18x DB, but you cant use your pc for anything else. Sidenote: A i7-3930k oc to 4,2Ghz can handle easy 20x DB or 30x IB. But you also need a 3gb Grafix. Such a system cost ~2k Euros.

I have 10+ systems and every bot on market. My lovely is the i7-3930k oc. Running 40x HB on it and its on ~70% load. But, and hold that always in mind: The more bots running on one system, the more the next banwave will hurt you! If you dont have the money, just build a decent system with ~10 bots, save more money and build another system with the next 10 bots and so on... Always remember the next banwave! And no, i dont share pics or whatever. I can give hints, take it or let it

Ya I always laugh at the people saying spend 2k$ on an intel system and bot 20+ :) They can have fun getting the 20+ banned when you can spend that 2k$ on 2 machines and maybe save half your bots. Good advice though if you cant afford it don't risk 20 bots on one PC.

My advice to people using multiple PCs KVM switch don't waste the money on more monitors, keyboards finding room for 10 towers is easy making room for 10 monitors/keyboards etc is a pain in the ass. Also have a friend get a job at bestbuy or walmart or somewhere that sells diablo 3 and get 10-20% off lol in the end it matters.

I'm curious, how many would a quadcore 2.4ghz be able to run? Right now i can't even run two but i have alot of junk processes running in the background and i'm thinking about reformatting in the hopes of being able to run x3 db+d3 and still be able to use my computer for watching tv shows.

But yes i know i need to upgrade sometime soon, just need abit more cash

What kind of quard core ? Like a Q8200 ? I had one running 3 with isboxer it only uses about 50% of the CPU.
