Cheapest PC for multibotting 6+ clients

Just going to point this out. If you buy cheap, you get cheap products typically. Since you are trying to box 6, you should spend the extra money and build a GOOD SOLID computer not a cheapshit computer being you know your going to be putting it through A LOT of heat/stress.

2 Gb cards are quite expensive.

I can get Radeon HD 6850 XFX PCI-E 2048Mb but 6870 is better at everything, but only 1 Gb.
Thoughts?

Right now I'm thinking about:

Core i7 3770K
ASUS P8Z77-V LX
HD 6870 XFX PCI-E 1024Mb
128Gb SSD OCZ Vertex 4 Series
16Gb DDR-III 1600MHz Kingston HyperX

Samsung SSD 830 is better and Asus Radeon HD 6870 DirectCU :)

vRam on a GrafixCard is MUCH more important than anything else. If u buy cheap shit, your system cant handle 5+ Bots. Fact.
Ati 7850 2gb is fine for start and not expensive.

OCZ is shit, sorry :) Buy Crucial or buy a harddisk.

people really and i mean really know what they are talking about...

my rig has a OCZ and a 6870 1GB and guess what running at the moment 12 bots with no problems at all and even have free ressources for more clients....
(sidenote: it is not DB since i am waiting for the sales to come back)

not...
1gb card can easily handle 12clients

runningen multible diablo 3 clients is all about CPU and a bit of RAM

I'm buying a Nvidia GTX670 with 4gig ram DDR5. and 1300 stream cuda cores. for under 500$

Stop talking about VRAM on this thread!!! You have no idea how much vram 6 D3 can consume if you are saying gpu>cpu>ram.

6 d3 bots run on low at around 15% of a 560 TI. Ive build a cheap pc for botting 3 days ago and i know whats needed.

Cpu>Ram>Gpu.

Minimum for 6 bots or more should be i7 2600k 3.4ghz. If you want 4 i5 will handle it well. 16gb ram is a must!

If you are spending more then 5-600euro/usd for 6bots rig it will be overkill.

i would not consider the amd 8-cores, they nearly have double the power consumption,
and their benches are nowhere close to the i7 benches

Well, amds are cheaper tho, the 8-core runs only 200? - same as the worst i7, the only reason people consider it i guess.

You guys are retarded. I shit you not I'm running 6 copies on a 5 year old PC.

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33 GHz
4.00 GB DDR2 Ram
300 GB HD
8800 GT

No, I'm not trolling. lol

you dont need 16gb for only 6 d3 versions. I run 6 d3+db and it only uses around 6gb of ram, 50% of my 2700k which was oc-ed to 4.3ghz

How to multi client diablo? my second diablo with -launch cant create / join games :/

I'm running 14 bots on:

Core i5 2500k OC at 4.5 GHz, 70-95% load
GTX 560TI SOC - 900MHz (40% load) - 1024MB Vram (950MB used)
12GB DDR3 (80% used)
SSD Samsung

No need for a super duper 400$ graphic card, just get a decent one with 1GB or more.

Dont give hints to buy this or this because of your own overclocked pc's. Not every ppl has the knowledge to oc his cpu to "rockstable"! Check google if u dont know what this means.

So, if u want to buy a decent and payable hardware, dont hear of all the crap comments who has overclocked cpus, running different bots like DB or dont post their gph. If u want the power for 6x DB with the maximum gph possible for your pc, just follow my comments. And dont hear the f*** trolls. Its your money, not the money of all the trolls here.

Before you start adding more info about specs post a screenshot with your 6+ bots, cpu load, gpu load, ram used and pc info. Lets see now the minimum spec for multiboxing 6+.

Since im away from home i will post next w/e this screenshot.

Posts are worthless without screenshots.

That 5y old rig multiboxing...such a troll.

Le: here's a ss from teamviewer. 4 bots running on low on 400x300

I5 3450 3.1 ghz, 16 gb, 560 ti

Id call bullshit

E6850 3.0ghz
8gigs ram
10k rpm drive
ati 4870
1 D3 + 1 DB = 99 CPU usage even with low settings

no way you are running 6 coppies

10x diablo 3 -> 800x600 -> lowest possible settings by the game itself (no external fx tweaks) -> ati 6870 (no oc) -> 70% gpu load

sidenote: it is not deamonbuddy, but that should make not a big difference in gpu load aight?!

if you really need a ss i will give you one...

edit: nvm here is one

Nice SS. Few of those aren't logged in so it could climb a little bit but SS should prove you don't need super graphics card to run multiple D3's.
