Hi there,
what do you think is the cheapest pc for multibotting?
What specs?
amd or intel? normal hdd or ssd?

An what do you think is better 1 pc with 7-8 or 2 pcs and split ?
And anyone there with 10-12 clients on one pc?

Im also interested in this. Need the cheapest rig for 6 bots

my rig:

i7 3770
ati 6870
16gb
ssd vertex 3

running 12 bots with ease at around 60% cpu load (not oc)

dunno what is the cheapest possible setup to run 6 bots smooth with some spare power,
should be somewhat of an i5 combined with a geforce 460 / ati 5570
and 8gb ram, since ssd are damn cheap at the moment i would always recommend one,
lower loading times -> more activ game time -> more loot/gold

Which bot are you using? I'm running 3 sessions of DB and it around 60-90 % cpu load.
I guess that 12 bots using IB,right? Because DB look like more cpu load.
My computer : i5 3470 / GTS450 / 8gb / ssd

Every decent AMD Cpu x4 955+ or similar Intel with 16 GB Ram can handle 6x DB. Such System cost max 500 Euros.

BUT: U need every single D3 in lowest settings. And i mean lowest possible. Check Guides, check Google how to do that.
Also: Your machine is on 100% load! U cant do nothing else :)

If u want running 10+ DB's, u need as minimum an i7. Remember: Every single DB needs up to 15-20% Cpu in spikes on a i5 3570 and up to 15% Cpu on a i7! But such systems are more expensive and cost ~1000 Euros with the fastest 256' Crucial SSD.

do u use smth for multibotting? i mean Isboxer or smth like that or u just run them as usual?

I'm not using HB but with IB I can run 7 bots using about 7 GB of RAM and around 70% CPU load on an i5 sandy. I also run a lot of things in the background and watch movies while botting - sure I could get more bots out of it.

atm. i use
AMD A8 3870 3.00 GHz
16 GB RAM
Radeon HD 6700
win 7 64 bit

The problem its getting loud with 5x diablo and hot
i use open hardware monitor to check the temp.
cpu is betw. 57? and 60? value max is 61.6?
ati radeon 71? max is 73?
hdd 47? max is 48?
power supply is also hot

that ? is celsius not fahrenheit
cel to fah converter here

can i run 1-2 more diablos or should i upgr. something before the pc crashes lol?
and what about water cooling? is it worth?

atm im looking at smth like:
i5 3550
120gb ssd
12gb ram
radeon 7770
What do you think?over-kill?

yes it is not DB, since i only own 3 licenses here, waiting for the sales to come back up...

but i sometimes play around a bit with DB on 1 or 2 of the accounts and do not recognize a massive cpu load change...

for 6+ id recommend a I7. You need I7 to get 6+ run smooth. I5 can handle 4 maybe 5 to run smooth but not 6++. GPU is not that big of a problem with this game. So cpu all the way, 18 gb of ram (6 bots might use 10gbram) and hdd or ssd, doesnt matter much imo.

I7 2600k 3.4 ghz minimum requirement imo. I have this at home and i can handle 6 without a problem.

any gtx 560 ti will be ok...but i have gtx 580.

i bet an i5 can handle 6 copies, my other rig with an q8300 can handle 4...

as mentioned allready if u want 6 copies and that is it, an i5 will do his job,
if you may expand any further or want other applications to run, aim for an i7 of your choice!

i would not consider the amd 8-cores, they nearly have double the power consumption,
and their benches are nowhere close to the i7 benches,
but i have no experience multibotting with them,
maybe ask kick, he owns an amd 8-core in one of his systems!

6 bots = 8gb ram
6+ bots = 16 gb ram

take an ati card > a nvidia card!
7870, 6870 , 7770, ....

So much bs here. Read my first post and understand it.

Cpu: Each Diablo needs up to 2-5% Cpu. The bedder your Cpu, the lower your load. DB needs up to 15-20% Cpu because of extremly high spikes. So 4-6 copys with a decent Cpu is possible, more copys needs much bedder systems for 1k+ euros. Its never ever possible at this stadium of DB to run more than 15 copys on the fastest i7. Maybe in few weeks or months with much updates.
Ram: Each Diablo needs 700-1000k Ram in lowest settings. If u have mem-optimizer's, its ~500k each with little spikes. Prices are lowest atm, so buy 16gb and your fine for months.
Gpu: Each Diablo needs 150 vRam in 32 bit. In 16 Bit it needs ~100 vRam per copy. Read the guides to optimize the D3Prefs. So a 2gb Card is fine for now.

FYI im running 6 Bots on a i5 Overclocked (3.7Ghz). its all in how you use your processor... I.E Dont have extra stuff running in the background if its not needed.. Browsers and skype.. (Skype is bad for using alot of system resources)

Hope this helps.
