Bulding a computer to host at least 10 bots

Hi Guys,

Im getting a gaming rig, need to open at least 10 client. CPU will be on 24/7. Below are the spec

Intel 3770K + Asus P8Z77-V
Or
Intel 3570K + Asus P8Z77-V
Ram: G.Skill 4Gb x 4
HDD: Hitechi 500GB
GPU + PSU: Asus HD7950 Direct CU II 3GB + FSP 700w Gold
ODD: Asus DVD RW
Casing : Sharkoon T28 or Asgard XP

is 3570k enough to open 10 client will it lag ? please advice on brands too thanks.
 
I5k can run 10
-ram: get 2x 8 GB or 4x8 16 gb can run 10max


using n SSD so, dont know how a regular HDD performs with 10 D3 running

ok so for the SSD is 128GB enough or do i need 256GB ?

128 should be enough.

If you're looking to run 10 clients your cpu usage is going to be constantly high. You need to look into aftermarket cooling.
 
either isboxer or 256gb ssd. diablo folder = 11gb x 10 = 110gb + windows install...

more ram and good to go
 
i say you go with the i7 3770k not with the i5... and u need 32gb ram
 
16gb ram for 10bots I dnt think so. I maxed out 12gb with 7bots and atleast one kept crashing so I could only run 6. Get 32gb kit. More bang for ur buck that way. Ummm get a 120gb ssd but only install d3 on there and get a cheap hard drive for windows n junk. I prefer the i7 processors. I'm using a i7 2600k and only at 20-30% usage with 6bots.

Edit: I also suggest the corsair h100 for CPU cooling. I'm using one n love it although I can be a but noisy on the high setting. If ur gnna get this cooler I suggest get a full tower case cuz the h100 is big and yu dnt want to jam things in there, also it has better ventilation. I'm using the thermaltake chaser mk-I

ok thanks for the info guys. how about this motherboard Asus P8Z77-V ? and for Ram is 1600Mhz enough ?
 
I would recommened a mobo with a 2011 socket instead of the 1155 on that mobo just cuz ur gnna be better off down the road but that's a good mobo. N for ram 1600 is perfect in my opinion. 1333 sucks n anything above 1600 is pricey.

I have a ASRock Z77 Extreme6, this is a great board. No troubles and very easy to overclock. But I am sure the Gigabyte is fine as well.

whats wrong with 1333? OC or use tight timings
 
With 16gb ram you can run 13 d3+db...

And, if u make a "liked" copy of D3 folder, u can have 15 D3 in a 90GB ssd...

My specs:
2500K 4.8ghz + corsair h100
16gb gskill 1,35v 8-8-8-24
msi twin frozr 7850 2gb
corsair force gt 90gb

cheaper and better for multi task...

Can you link a resource where it explains how FX8150 outperforms it's Intel's counterparts?
 
What are you using to tile the windows like that?

OK... I never say that FX8150 its better than every other Intel's....

And pls... like i said... dont start with comparison...
 
Oh... I almost forgot...

I had a FX-8150... And a 2500K at 4.8ghz...

The amd handle 4 bots at 3.6 load up to 35%

My intel handle 8 bots at 80~90%...

So.. YES! FX-8150(stock, without overclock) its better than 2500K(at 4.8ghz) for botting!

FOR BOTTING!!!!!!!!!!!

one more time... F O R B O T T I N G!

FOR TOO MANY BOTS!!!!

Appears that the 4 cores cant handle 8 "heavy process" like the FX-8150 do...

With less bots, 4 or 5... Intel probaly is better!

So griovejas, hold urself



ps.: When the other h100 arrive ill take some SS from 8150 at 4.8gz working with 12 bots too :)
