On topic, my experience shows that moderately overclocked 2500k is on par with 8150, and i7 blows it out of the water. I raised the question of how 8150 matches up to Intel's processors to get a different perspective and perhaps modify my own opinion for future builds, not to engage in this cluster f*.

Im a fan of intel... Always use it... But a friend of mine made some tests with fx8150, and I take a chance, i was holding money to buy a pc ONLY FOR BOTTING, and risk buying a 8150. Like DOAKES says "Surprise, m f!!!" Performance better with lots of bots than my 2500K at 4.8gz....


My OPINION, if want to BOT HARD and dont want to expend too much on i7 (i dont have any i7 processor to test performance with bots) go with 8150!

which SSD is better OCZ Vertex 4 128GB or Crucial M4 128GB ?
 
new "yet another relogger" makes you only need 32GB SSD.. ;)

Appears that the 4 cores cant handle 8 "heavy process" like the FX-8150 do...

With less bots, 4 or 5... Intel probaly is better!

ps.: When the other h100 arrive ill take some SS from 8150 at 4.8gz working with 12 bots too :)

I am too building a FX8150 bot computer, just wondering what kind cooling solution u have right now.

processor + Mobo: I7 3770k + Asus Z77 extreme 4
SSD:crucial m4 128GB
GPU:Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 OC 3GB
RAM:Kingston Hyper X 16GB
PSU:Seasonic X 660W Gold
Casing: Sharkoon T28
 
is 128g ssd enough for system and 10+D3?
i think each D3 need about 10g space.

and was it able to run your 10 bots?
 
Is anyone in this thread running 10+ bots? I am building a new rig this week and would like to be able to do that if I so choose.

so just space was your problem? once you buy another sdd you think your build can do 12? Also how did it take up that much space with only 5? your using isboxer? or your u doing the -launch way?

worth adding I have only one copy of d3 in use :) ty relogger! also u can use mlink.
