What do I need to be able to bot it efficiently ?
All my acc's are DH's now they are useless so I was thinking to get some barb's lvl'ed.

You could do act 1 pretty easy with a 10m bot and take forever to kill elite packs with little/no mf. Or you could do it with 100m+ bots which clears packs easily with tons of MF. Then you could even go further and dump 200-300m per bot which walks through act 1 like a park.

All up to you.

Thats the thing ...
I don't really see a point in investing more than 10kk in a bot especially if there is a threat that you can get banned.

There's always a risk with botting, either take it or don't bot.

Personally I wouldn't advise doing champion runs without MF, this which means you roughly need to spend up to 40-50m per bot at least.

This is my barbs (dying once every 4-5 hours probably due to getting stucked against wall from nightmarish)

-60k hp
-165-175 without 5nv
-30k dps fulyl buffed
~700 reasist all

Take a note when you are building babrs, imo the 2 most important defensive passive are superstision (20% elemental reduction coz the only way ur bot can die is if he accidently stands on top of arcane source), pound of flesh, and i usually go with berserker rage as it is the best offensive skill imo.

Thanks Bertrand.
Is there any way to lvl bot after the game limit has been enabled again ?
Any full act lvling profiles ?

if you put in 20m for a set youll be doing pretty good and you will get ur money back fast in my opinion especially if you get lucky and get a nice drop right off the bat that sells for $100+. with 20m ur gnna get a nice set with decent MF. you need minimum 1k allress, 40k hp with around 30k dps buffed. make sure you stack crit chance!!! with around 200 crit dmg buffed and ur good.

i just got a barb up and it was really easy to through act 1 pretty cheap i didnt spend more then 5mil. and i had 1mil from leveling. she is at 850 Ar 7392 armor 1243 str and 1200 vit. I even had a few pieces of lvl 59 gear. she only has 12k damage and 722 loh. Unbuffed. I use Frenzy with maniac to get the damage up and i use earthquake and WoTB with leap revenge and warcry. Basically each elite fight takes 10 seconds. she leaps in hits WoTB hits earthquake and starts frenzy elites die before WoTB is done. she never dies, and i am avg about 10mil a day on her. with 0 base mf.

this is the build i use Barbarian - Game Guide - Diablo III

What passives are best to use is gear/build dependant actually.

If you have a high crit/crit dmg build Ruthless is actually the best offensive passive, if you have bundles of all res from gear you don't need to use superstition, if you use revenge and LoH to regen health then pound of flesh isn't great, if you have high vit then Nerves of Steel is better than Tough as Nails, if your vitality is lower TaN is better. If you have high base armour (extra armour on gear is a cheap alternative to all res that most people tend to ignore) then leap/iron impact is the single best defensive ability going as you take basically zero dmg 40% of the time, if you're well geared and can spare the skill slot Sprint/Marathon will reduce the runtimes of your profiles, if you use WotB/EQ then Boon of Bulkathos is the best offensive passive, if you have Axe(s) Weapons Master becomes very useful ....

Tailor your skills to the gear you have and don't copy someone elses build without thinking about it a little. My champion farmer barbs cost me ~2m each to gear and clear an act1 run in about 20 mins and die one run in 3, I have about 200% MF once I hit the 5 stacks of NV. I use the drops that I get to upgrade my gear as I run as I want to farm act 3 eventually, I sell the previous gear I was using each time I upgrade.

If you are champion farming though MF is good, it gets devalued a little by packs dropping an extra guaranteed rare at 5NV, *but* extra MF gives a larger chance that gear will have more affixes which can effect the rares dropped from the NV bonus, more affixes means higher sell value(usually).

I equipped my first barb for 2m and was able to farm Act 1 with no MF on gear.

I have since put another 5m into it, and a couple of dropped items have been equipped, to boost MF to over 200 with NV. That money includes putting MF gear on Templar.
(For some reason I was noticing that legendaries were not dropping near as much under 100 base MF, so that was my goal was 100MF base for more legendaries. Got 4 legendaries last night. They are all still junk, but hey.)

The Barb is making 100k GPH, not counting crafting materials from salvage. Add it all up and include the millions in gold from drops and I would say my barb is doing as well as my best DH Sarkoth 650k GPH were before bans, if not better. For significantly less up front cost.

The only problem I have now is gold does not sell.

on US servers i sell 10mil every day. on rmah. also selling the crazy items on rmah instead of Gah works well rightnow.

With War Cry buffs, I'm running at 34K life, 17.6K dps, 620+ resists, 222 life per second regen, 153 life per hit, 5K health globe bonus w/7 pick up radius, 100 base Magic Find.

I am currently trying out Jackie's build above using Superstition, Pound of Flesh, and Boon and so far haven't had a death yet.

thanks for the build jackie never though of stacking earthquake and wotb together lol elites are going down much faster now!

Pretty good advice above. I geared one barb for about 3-4 mil and he can take act 1 pretty effectively, maybe one death every other run? I use Profile Switcher so a death doesn't matter much. I have another barb with about 10mil worth of eq and he farms act 2 with about the same death rate. Important stats are life on hit, and anything that gives you armor, resistance, or life gain (revenge, bloodthirst, etc) My 10 mil barb has 13k thorns damage (with that +armor/barbs passive) and bloodthirst, so everything that touches him takes 13k damage and heals/mitigates 400, plus has 30% chance of procing his revenge. Just one route to take!

Have fun with it, you'll come across a gear combo you like and you'll learn for future bots. Don't forget that if you buy pieces that you replace later, you can always resell them and recover most of your money.

My two barbs have farmed about 100mil worth of gear in the past week, running about 12 hours per day on average. They could do better, but I've been experimenting a lot. Don't worry too much about recovering your losses, it will happen pretty quickly.

Max MF on follower alone takes about 5m gold.

If you're going to bot champs, aim for the long run and invest in your bot. This is not like sarkoth where gear and dps doesn't really matter that much. In farming champs, the more you invest, the faster/better your drop rates and the higher your returns. I have bots with over 100-200m in gear and they have all repaid themselves manyfold already.

I just dinged 60 on my barb, and would like some help with gearing it. I have a budget of like 6-8m, and ill pay someone to help me making him run A1. Ofc I can't make him run it like a charm, but I want it to run with as less deaths as possible

with these stats you can easily farm act 2...

do you guys use a special config for the belphegor routine or just default settings?
