1. Learn to code and write whatever you need on your own
2. Write the author and ask if he can lower the price
3. Don't by it and use the free stuff available

the ranking also isn't about NOW. the routines are up there for quite a while now, so i assume everyone knows the routines from before the patch and is talking about BEFORE the patch.... a lot of them still aren't working so why would anyone talk about how they perform NOW? *facepalms*

and yes, the gladiator suite being added is the BEST thing ever... this is one really good routine bundle besides oracle/leaves/millz

Ok, let me add my $0.02 to this thread.
I've been a developer here on buddy forum for quite a while, most of my work (so far) the average user doesn't even know about.
Alot of the things I've made is to help other developers (ask Botanist how my work has helped him with his profiles).
I current have two payed products on the store (both co developed with Wiggles), both are botbases and both just plain work out of the box.
You move where you want and you click start button and it does everything for you, no profiles needed, no extra cc's needed (works perfectly fine with Singular).
I want to make products that isn't too complicated, just read the PimpMyGuild thread and you understand why I went this way, some ppl are just too retarded to even follow simple instructions and I've answered the same question over and over and over in that thread until I got tired of it and allmost hoped it would break in 6.0 patch (it didn't).
I now instead make products that can handle the retarded user (sadly it's alot of them out there) who can't read and follow a simple step by step instructions.
Yes one of our botbases has a higher price but it is because we don't want 1000 of ppl running around using it, that would make it worthless for everyone.
Look what happend to PickPocket when a few pickpocket profiles where made free, it got nerfed and pockets where removed from mobs in a few areas due to it.
Too many ppl using the same stuff is allways bad, I try to make high quality products that acts as human as possible.
I allways maintain my products and I allways give support, I'm sure most of my skype contacts can confirm that.

Quite frankly, those of you whining about the price of products, they were never designed for you. Most paid products are for the professional botters, not the weekenders.

If most of you had a 1 day pass to the Dev channel, you would understand how much work goes on in the background you know nothing about.

Is just me who think 80% of the profiles on buddy Store is overpriced?

In my opinion the bossland should do something about this... like fixed prices, for quest profiles, routines, proff....

I understand and i apreciate all the time ppl spend making some profiles, but, asking 17.99$ for a routine in my opinion is absolutly insane when you can buy wow+bc+wotlk+cata+pandaria for 15€!

i agree with lots of people here, there so many crap routines on the store....

I own 7/11 of the premium CRs available on the buddystore and before the patch all (except nekrophilia, which was said to be working only with WoD) of them worked great.
Since Galdiatorsuite jsut got added today, I can say for sure, that before the Patch 70% of the CRs were well peforming, and looking at the thread of superbad by handnavi I'd say 80%

as I've alerady said, I own most of the premium stuff in the store, and before the patch the were working great. Demonic, Portal, Oracle II, Stars, Leaves, Pure all were working great. So if people say most routines are crap, I assume (If you can make assumtions, I feel free to do so) that most people (including you) talk about the current state, not pre patch.

oh, and if you say "gladiator suite being added is the BEST [...] besides oracle/leaves/millz" that allready covers 6/11 routines currently available on the store, so saying that there are "so many crap routines on the store" is just plain bullshit

For some people it will be cheap, for others it might end up expensive. It all comes down on how much it weighs on your budget. For (average wage) people from low income countries it's a lot more expensive then it is for those of the US or most western european countries.

As for Botanist's €10 embersilk farm profile, is it expensive? On it's own maybe yes (depends on how you plan to use it), but it's also an easy way to donate if you like all his other work that he's releasing for free, then it's cheap.

Wether anything from the buddystore is worth it is up to you to decide for your own. Some of them offer trials or free (limited) versions, use them and then decide. If you're hesitating go read the comments on the forums, ask some questions, then decide.

Guess what buddy life aint going to give you anything for free learn to work for it. This is the reality....either he learned to code growing up, in school as a means to learn a profession, a job... And all income from this is a 2nd HOBBY income...While he has all the right to charge whatever the fuck he wants, he doesn't have the right to sit on some high horse crying how he was forced to learn how to code and nobody wants to pay for it.... Supply and demand...

Or you reverse it...he was a garbage truck driver who had a passion for botting which enabled him to learn to code over the years and now he has the skills to easily get a paying job, well worth over 100k euro a year.

In both scenarios he's still having 2 incomes and no right to cry that people dont wanna pay for his products.

And he doesn't spend 5 years writing shit now... One time knowledge barrier, thats it.

For reference, i have never used anything from botanist and doubt i'll have any reason to do so in the future.
I'v also donated to several com devs and also bought private profiles, written my own etc.

This, and Bossland get's a 30% cut, so why should he lower the price xD ?

Seriouslly no 17-20 euro is 100% normal or even nothing. Yes it seems a lot for a guy that will use it once in a weekend for 2-3 hours.
BUT if you are like in my possition that profile will be abused for 12 hours every day for as long as it can. Considering it makes 1k h/r gold that is 12k gold at the end of the day. And 12k gold when sold to a gold reseller is around 3 euro. So you cant expect a profile to cost 3 euro or something of the sort because something that took at least 3-4 hours to write and days to test for bug would pay itself for like 12 hours. Considering that bossland takes a cut less than 7 euro a profile is just silly.

Considering how much money the customer will make with a profile its just silly to post it for nikles.

Also not everyone can post profiles on the shop. You need to be a com. Dev. And we cant all be one.
