Botting not worth it, some math included

It will never die as long as ther is an rmah and at least 1 legit player, but within 2 months botting profits will drop by 70% by my estimation because not only we wont be able to profit from selling gold as now, but our items we get from bots and sell directly from rmah will have to compete with those bought for gold by other botters, therefore suffering from decreased value. Of course we will be able to buy items and resell like everyone, but i suppose that there will be a lot less items to flip then gold to spend.
 
This is one of the funniest threads. I came here looking for graphs and excel spreadsheets, maybe even an infographic, but OP is clearly a joke.

I started to keep tabs of my sales on a monthly basis to see how much I make. With 2 bots, I made $500 in the past 30 days. $500 is not enough to recuperate the loss of $5 gear + $50 key?

Edit: LOL@Top 20 university in USA. What the fuck did that have to do with anything? And if you have the pride to throw that around, why does your OP lack all sense of logic? English/History/Philosophy major for sure.

Its funny to see some complaining about no profits and expecting the end of d3 and others posting crazy profits.
I guess its just like other parts of the internet, means no matter whats the topic ppl have totally different views about it.
 
This game is dead, no profits can be made. 100% lost of everything. Its a disaster. Blizzard hammer now falls more often with twice the force and the stores are running out of tin foil to protect.
You should all quit right now!
 
what we all need is : a)huge banwave 2)new patches with high-quality and fun content 3)expansion announcement + details from it being revealed every once in a while to keep people interested

But this game is worse with every patch, they couldnt do worse if they had do it on purpose. Markets getting worse for legit players and for us too.

You can sit on your billions, or you can sell for 0,0000001 euro to those lame chinese.
 
the way i see it, botting is only for paragon lvling now. Bot to 100, gold which is gained, upgrade bot acc, and keep the rest. If you still wanna bot, start another acc.

Unless you are botting 10-20 accs minimum, and selling gold in the billions, its not really worth it. Also, who has got time to check stash items for 10-20 accounts and posting it on rmah? And, when banwave hits, kiss all your bots goodbye.

Just my 2 cents.

yea bro. Still sux however. $1.70 for 10m for 20 hrs of botting with 1 bot. That works out 588 hrs of botting just to make back price of cd key, assuming avg $50 cd-key at 500k per hr. Didnt gold use to be $2.50/m when it first started? Those were the good old days. At 0.17c i'd be just buying the gold with real cash if i every needed anything from ah.

Btw, has anyone realised that some of us are just hooked onto the act of botting?
 
I was very disappointed in D3 for being so lame and boring compared to D3. This is why I started botting, I never botted another game before. Its not about the money, its about sending a message.
 
i made my money back on my first 3 accounts after the last banwave in 3 days......

and ive paid for the last 2 in a week also

sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you dont
