Botting not worth it, some math included

US cd key- 50 dollars
50m in gear to start up-5 dollars

current worth of gold.
.10/mil

on average if item farming from 1-100 paragon then ban, 500k/hr gold and 500k/hr items= 1mil/hour

required time to get back investment of 55$= 550million
550 hours of botting= 3 whole weeks of 24/7

at this rate, if you are botting for fun, id just give up, just spend the money and buy gold to upgrade your character.
if you are botting for money, id just give up as well as 3 weeks to get back initial investments is quite retarded not including electricity costs.
 
I guess some of us must be doing something wrong incorrectly.

you forgot 1 thing
you can buy a RU key for $30 or Account fot $16
and you can use it for any contry you want and language no matter for DB and Trinity etc

gold is actually less than .10$/mil now..
cuingame is currently selling 90$ per 1bil....

so its more like .08/mil which means 20percent longer time to get back initial investments.

why did you make a thread, if you don't think botting is worth it? why are you even on this website at all then.
 
If I based my judgement on base pickup per hour of a damn near naked char I'd have prolly quit a long time ago also.

Do you still bot sarkoth or something? I mean wtf...

I can also get you some keys for $50 and let me get some of that action big box is taking out of your ass.

I feel my math is quite accurate.
500k/hr is quite fair for 50m geared character going from paragon 1-100 then banned after. then another 500k/hr from item drops is quite fair IMO as well.
so 1mil/hr total is quite fair,

granted at 100 paragon + 300m geared characters can farm 700k-800k gold/hr without item drops and possibly another 700-800k from items, but that takes about 2 weeks to reach 100 paragon, in addition to another 300m=30$ equipment investment.

Im one of the few people who got 4 banned back in decemeber and am getting an itch to play this stupid game again. LOL made alittle over 7k and am thinking about using 100 dollars for fun on this stupid game haha.

After doing some math, its just better that I buy gold which will probably be 7-8 cents/mil in a week than it is to buy an account, gear him up and bot him for fun/my own pleasure.

Just throwing my thoughts out there.

From what Ive seen, not very likely, unless you are very lucky. The gold sellers have every hour stocked with 100s of billions.

of course you might get lucky to have yours be the next in line but that is for the most part unlikely.

I go to a top 20 university in the United states haha.

Because of the botting last semester, my GPA took a pretty big hit.

I cant afford that this semester. Profits are literally 1/20 of what they used to be between july-november and thus its not really worth my time/effort haha.

gl to all else who are botting though.
7k to me is a lot of money, allows me to live alittle more lavishly cause my parents pay for my tuition. XD
 
I was thinking this the other day when I noticed gold sells for fuck all now. I bot to fund my main character. I've botted 3 characters to para 100 and have probably not even made 1B gold.

I do like botting though as you never know what will be in your stash when you wake up in the morning! So instead of stopping I'm considering botting 3 accounts at once.

my 5 accounts hit paragon 100 before 18th december, passed over the ban wave, didnt touch them after they hit 100, sold one of them for 600€ and another for 850€, have still 3 paragon 100 acc which is pure LEGAL, 600+850=1450€+3paragon100acc which are for sale i can sell one of them to you if you need paragon 100 account..oh i even dont mention about rmah, 50 acc going strong for now, 20+ of them paragon100... no need math, i never calculated lose/profit ratio,i am just a cool guy who doesnt need maths..
 
You all are missing the big picture, 0.1 $ per mln is price atm, with current drop ratio by the end of this month it will be 0.001 per mln. Gems are already main way to cash in large amounts of gold instantly, and they are plummeting like a stone (-0.7 eur only this week, similar in us). With this rate it will take up to 2 months till radiant gems stop selling even for 0.25, and then gold will officaly became worthless. You will be able only to buy some mediocre gear on gah for it, because any item worth a penny will be immediately snatch by botters sitting on unsold billions and reposted on rmah. This of course will cause also crash in rmah, because current number of items aviable there will double, with only slight (if any) increase of demand (i suppose ppl who arent buyig thing for real cash will just quit rather than start doing it).
