Botting in Garrison?

Seems worth $10-$15 to make that much gold. Make a spare account bot up a druid (or whatever really,) and run it. To each their own though I suppose.

No, I don't disagree with you there, but the problem is that I can't afford another account. I find it hard, sometimes, to even afford to pay my sub for one month. My monthly income causes me to be on a ridiculously tight budget. It's stupid that I've worked for so long, but now because I'm disabled, I get practically nothing a month to live on. I hate having to depend on government assistance, because I'm on of those people that doesn't like using the system (unlike some of my neighbors that abuse the system by getting paid, then going out and bying jewelery, clothing, shoes, and all kinds of stupid crap instead of what it's supposed to be used for). The government has deemed that I can live on $15 worth of food stamps a month, and then I get $900 from Social Security. Then, on top of that I pay out anywhere between $700-$800 a month in bills, depending on the weather. So, you can see that I'm left with next to nothing to actually enjoy myself for the month.

Believe me, if I could afford to get professional, or even semi-professional botting setups like some of you guys have, then I'd be all in and botting my ass off. But, sadly, I can barely afford to do what I do now.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to post a sad, sob story to get sympathy or anything. I was simply trying to show things from my point of view. Money is super, super tight, so I can't afford multiple accounts. In all honestly, I do have two accounts, but I can only keep one going at a time without not paying a bill. Sounds stupid, I know, but that's how my life is.

im with you Zel, wife and i live on 1200 bucks a month. if it wasnt for hb and selling gold, there would be many many days of Ramen. o and we did get approved for the Stamps, $16 a month!!

i owe more than i can show in one forum post to the staff at HonorBuddy. you guys have made life just a little easier these last couple years.

And to Mirabis who has brought the fun back into raiding my druid. i dont know what id do if i had to keep that damn rejuv spam going myself.

No, I don't disagree with you there, but the problem is that I can't afford another account.

I personally didnt pay any $/€ for subs to Blizzard for almost 3 years now. I have 3 accs, 1 main, 1 as AH/bank and 1 bot.
Usually I dont bot (gathering) for more than few hours (2-3) every couple of days in the last 3-4 months, and the accounts still pay for themselves. But im running tillers farm planting profiles, so i still get mats every day on 20+ chars.
I have over 35 lvl 90 chars on the 3 accs.
Just do Dungeonbuddy LFR / and some gathering (recommend rdbuddy plugin) and u will have more than enough to buy game time in game with gold.

Kimca I need to do what you do and not pay for any accounts. I have two accounts I have expended many hours had leveling getting achievements etc that I really want to keep. I also have 4 relatively new accounts that I have also hand leveled some but really dont care too much if they get banned. I have 500K in my bank but am fearful over selling gold. I at least want enough to buy new accounts and such. I see me getting caught my first sale.

I have not looked much at the new content such as garrisons and how to work them. Sounds really involved and complicated. So the skills and crafting is going to be limited?

I sell gold / buy game time only from guild members (i think i sold 2 times on a website, but it was like 2y ago).

I have checked some available information, but im still not 100% sure how it will work. Not having Beta access sucks...

Ofc things will be limited. Its like that every expansion (CD on crafting shit).
But how i understand this, i will be able to use garrison on my alts to make gear for my main char (which i raid with).
Also Salvage Yard will be usefull for DE stuff, since i dont have enchanting on my main.

I did a little bit of reading, looks like there will be a fishing building that will unlock bonus catches in garrison waters. Fish are always expensive when raids come out, and being able to bot fishing in your own garrison seems safe and profitable.

Yes but what happens when its safe and everyone does it? Prices drop like a rock and its no longer profitable.
