Botting in Garrison?

I haven't played the beta, but it seems like there is really a lot going on in WoD. Can anyone with experience say if there is a way of putting Honorbuddy to work in our Garrisons?
 
i really dont know for sure, but it seems like you will just spend a minute or two each day queuing up work orders then wait patiently for your minions to do it for you. or at least thats the way it reads on the wiki.
 
I did a little bit of reading, looks like there will be a fishing building that will unlock bonus catches in garrison waters. Fish are always expensive when raids come out, and being able to bot fishing in your own garrison seems safe and profitable.
 
fishing, herb, and mining are all available in your garrison, once unlocked - with the exception of fishing is always there. Other then that, work orders and minion quests seem like the only things to bot in garrisons. So, there is that :)
 
the thing that I also found is that you could also disenchant without you having the prof. This could be usefull if you grinded a ton of stuff.
I couldn't find any info about if you will get more stuff when you are an enchanter, but that seems logic
 
So with new debuff on farming mobs what ways will be to farming gold beside garrisons ?

garrusosn will be something that you are doing less then 1 hour a day and I pretty sure that gathering will be pretty nice

With the exception, that when you upgrade it, it could became your common hub. You can do tons of stuff in the garrison, including crafting, playing with AH - ye, you can build personal Auctioneer there. Then you can use your enchanting building to disenchant not only your stuff, but that from friends, invited in your Garrison too.

there is no point in gathering because you can't craft a lot of stuff anymore

ALL professions will have a daily limit on crafting

Exactly what I was thinking. Looking forward to a private fishing pond.
 
Daily cds and missions in garrison are they related to char or acc or server, i mean can you have cople chars on same acc realm faction and all have they personal garrison and cds ?
 
Garrisons are per character. I recall the Q&A last year and Cory Stockton answered a question related stating that the feature is built on top of the tech they developed for the halfhill farm. And it is per character.
 
I'm pretty certain it's character based, and having 11 characters on one account I'm hoping someone will make a bot to automate garrisons (dont wanna do x11 every day manually)
 
I'm not looking forward to garrisons simply because they're expensive to develop. The patterns cost something like 5k gold a piece. They also drop from content. Not sure if it's from dungeons, raids, and world type stuff, but the RNG still has some say in what you get. So, for casual botters like myself that only used HB for rotations, and never really got familiar with AH flipping for money, then the garrisons are going to be hard to obtain. Just sayin'. I know I'm not the only poor botter on these forums, lol.
 
To have a garrison army is my intention too, I just hope it doesn't trigger any auto ban from it :rolleyes:.

I lazy bot one account like 12 hours or so a day for herbs and ore and make around 10k gold a day. 300k ish per month that goes into a private guild bank. It's not even remotely hard to make enough gold for a garrison.

Yes, I agree if you have multiple accounts, and you don't care about losing any of them. As I said, I'm a "casual" botter, and I'm very, very cautious with my botting. I own one single account, and yes it's my main. I do care about it, which is why I'm overly cautious with what I do. If I farm herbs/ore it's rarely ever put on the AH, and it's most often always used for my professions. So, sure, making gold is easy if you don't mind sacrificing accounts every now and then.

Also, yes, I know the whole, "If you care about your account, don't bot on it." etc, etc. However, the bot actually helps me enjoy the game by taking care of things I can't see, such as procs, auras, and the random things like that. I'm disabled, like other WoW players using HB, and if I had to play this game by hand I would fail beyond miserably. I would probably still be stuck in gear that's less than 463. I can't farm by hand anymore because I can't see the nodes popping up on the minimap, I can't farm dungeons by hand because I can't play my toons efficiently enough to matter, and farming world content by hand is almost impossible because I can't keep myself alive by doing all the abilities and CDs because I can't really see them, or locate them quickly enough to use them. This is why I depend on HB to handle my game play.

Seems worth $10-$15 to make that much gold. Make a spare account bot up a druid (or whatever really,) and run it. To each their own though I suppose.
