Bot taking too long...

I don't have exile buddy, but I have demonbuddy lifetime license.
I can see a lot of people are complaining about the fact that exilebuddy is not working atm.

I think it's acceptable that a bot stops working for maybe a week or two.
However, I think it's a false advertisement when the bot hasn't been working for the past month,
but they are still selling the bot, as if it worked.

If I bought this bot, and it stopped working for a month, I'd be very frustrated.
You pay for a working bot system, then the bot should work.
It can be down for a week or two, but a month? Come on...

I almost bought this bot, thinking that it will be as fantastic as demonbuddy, but I found out that it's not working atm,
and so I bought another bot that is working currently from another provider. However, if this bot starts working, I'll give it a try.

Hope things move quickly and all become happier.

For those saying get VB and code your own bot if you don't like it, this isn't the only one out there for POE. The whole reddit debacle actually wasn't even an old version of EB like they claimed in the thread. I know exactly what it was, and it was an alternative option.

Something could have been learned from other buddy bots mistakes. IE when DB was updated for last season and the trinity plugin was totally redone and didn't work at all. What did they do? They gave us the old trinity that worked with previous patch and fixed it to work with the new patch. What does this mean? bot is still functional and works properly, and people can continue to bot and pay for new licenses. If pusdhedx was smart he would have just updated it so it was working as before with the previous patch and put a functional bot out there so users could bot and new users could buy a functional license and then worked on the new improved bot and released it when ready and maintaining the other version when need be rather than having nothing out there or available.

All this has done is make other people like me look for other alternatives. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as we get closer to 1 and a 1/2 months( 1/2 way through the season where real money is made) with nothing. All this has done is forced me to look to other alternatives as the starting price from day one to now for exalts has went from $10 to $2.80, even less if i was to sell my exalt to scum flippers for 1.80-2.00.

Add on top of that playing this boring game for over a month by hand just to make money, talk about terrible. Am I wrong in assuming this bot has made zero dollars for the buddy team for the last 37 days while other alternatives are stealing users daily because they have a functional bot out there? I mean I will for sure come back this when its ready, but I need SOMETHING in the meantime because I cannot stand another second of manual play of this horrible game just to make a few bucks. Some of us are only in this for the money.

Maybe something can be learned from this post rather than all you developers spewing hate over logical thinking, and perhaps pushedx will read it and hopefully it will make some sense to him and where I am coming from to have SOMETHING out there. I had to spend money elsewhere that I would of rather spent here. But I will raise my flame shield for all the flaming instead of people being rational with their responses like I was in my post. In the meantime we're working on other things... Say whatever you want, you never contributed to anything for this bot, not even helping others... Bot entered a rework phase. If you bought it during downtime, you maybe don't know it but the key activates only when you first log into the bot. SADLY no bot, SADLY no login. The bot is not working atm but will be. You're free to look at the neighboor's garden to see if the grass is greenier.
This bot is fantastic trust me, it just have only 1 core dev working on it.

Threads like this should be locked. Read stickies, and pray for the best, don't cry in a corner.

Of course you have nothing rational to say. If you even bothered to read my posts you have quoted me on, you would see I said I have never used the bot. How would I provide support or contribute to a project for a bot I have never used. But every other bot I have used, I have provided feedback for fixes, made profiles, and offered support for people having issues etc. So don't act like I am some pleb leecher when you know nothing about me. I provided logical anlysis as to why it was done the way it was. One of the major coders for HB got a pretty big kick out of this guy not being able to get a bot functioning in such a long amount of time. He even had a great quote regarding pushedx saying his code is too complicated and he would have to teach others his code to help him, creating even longer downtime.

Great to see its still the 1-2 post noobies that come out of their caves to do nothing but complain all day.
There is nothing to complain about , you buy it, the license doesn't start running until the bot actually works, nothing special about it and you don't lose a single penny.
If you don't like the way things are handled, ask for a refund and get out of these forums, try one of the bots out there, you'll be back here in no time because it all sucks major ass (pardon my french).
Stop being self entitled bitches, it doesn't help you or the community.
I can already see the same people bitching about bugs when they first try out the upcoming alpha/beta of the reworked bot. *shivers* I hate them all.

well which is not the thread's or user's fault. everyone is responsible for his own behavior. also certain plugin coders.

from my personal point of view i probably wouldnt have banned him, since i profit too much from his plugin.
but from the buddybot-team's point of view i had banned him already months ago to be honest.

and im very confident that he probably received countless numbers of warnings before hand.

No doubt he would have had countless warnings...but lets not kid ourselves, its not like his behaviour/language has been any different to before.

Never said it was the thread's creators fault, it was just a funny observation of the current situation. A thread made with the aim of speeding up the bot update process, ended up slowing it down...XD

And in the new update GGG will introduce more changes, which again will prompt a new 1.5-2 month delay. I guess then you will propose to "just wait until October", right? It can continue forever.
If GGG knows that they can take bot down this way, why wouldn't they do it?

Thats one of the reasons it is taking so long, pushedx already stated several times that he is indeed improving the bot so the downtime is cut by A LOT. About the code, read this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooks’_law
