Bot taking too long...

i would have crawled 5 miles in the mud (hiding from snipers), leading ann frank to the gas chambers for a quest plugin

Godwin's Law indeed holds true.

For all those who say a Questbot/Mapbot should be intrinsic to EB, doesn't that contradict the desire to "get the bot up and running as quickly as possible"? It'd mean more work needed before a beta release (as they couldn't deliver a half-assed product).

Yes it'll mean for the first week or so of it being active you will have to hand level a char for it grind on Lakes etc but at least it'll be up and running. Isn't that what everyone wants?... Honestly though, I'd be happy to wait till next league if it meant a rock solid questbot/mapbot/AIF was available, as I 100% bot to get currency built up for my own playthroughs (hate farming), so my motivations will be different to many of the income farmers.
 
New currency update and some updates for holding crafted items could potentially cause more issues with getting current bot up and running... not sure but could. Rip lol

When the last expansion hit it remember there was only grind bot left :) and it took quit a while until the most plugins where working again

Personal insults? Even though I do not induldge in them myself they are part and parcel of internet culture and to maintaining a trollish enviroment that all players can enjoy. But seriously, why ban such a big community contributer over internet arguments? I mean I have become friends with people who threatend to kill on the internet. Being "rude" barely gets you banned from a royal banquet, yet apparently the interwebz has stricter standards of behaviour.

For those saying get VB and code your own bot if you don't like it, this isn't the only one out there for POE. The whole reddit debacle actually wasn't even an old version of EB like they claimed in the thread. I know exactly what it was, and it was an alternative option.

Something could have been learned from other buddy bots mistakes. IE when DB was updated for last season and the trinity plugin was totally redone and didn't work at all. What did they do? They gave us the old trinity that worked with previous patch and fixed it to work with the new patch. What does this mean? bot is still functional and works properly, and people can continue to bot and pay for new licenses. If pusdhedx was smart he would have just updated it so it was working as before with the previous patch and put a functional bot out there so users could bot and new users could buy a functional license and then worked on the new improved bot and released it when ready and maintaining the other version when need be rather than having nothing out there or available.

All this has done is make other people like me look for other alternatives. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as we get closer to 1 and a 1/2 months( 1/2 way through the season where real money is made) with nothing. All this has done is forced me to look to other alternatives as the starting price from day one to now for exalts has went from $10 to $2.80, even less if i was to sell my exalt to scum flippers for 1.80-2.00.

Add on top of that playing this boring game for over a month by hand just to make money, talk about terrible. Am I wrong in assuming this bot has made zero dollars for the buddy team for the last 37 days while other alternatives are stealing users daily because they have a functional bot out there? I mean I will for sure come back this when its ready, but I need SOMETHING in the meantime because I cannot stand another second of manual play of this horrible game just to make a few bucks. Some of us are only in this for the money.

Maybe something can be learned from this post rather than all you developers spewing hate over logical thinking, and perhaps pushedx will read it and hopefully it will make some sense to him and where I am coming from to have SOMETHING out there. I had to spend money elsewhere that I would of rather spent here. But I will raise my flame shield for all the flaming instead of people being rational with their responses like I was in my post. Have a good day.
