Bot taking too long...

i just ask myself if it would be possible to first release something working, and than go into rework everything... i mean, yes nice a quest (so level from 1-70) without doing something, also nice faster updates and all the mentioned stuff. i understand this takes time, this is for the long time sake service necessary and fine -> accepted. but wouldn't it be possible to release a "core" module, just doing mapping. even if it does not pickup new coins - would make life easier.
i'm not botting because i want to earn money, or show off to my friends... is simply do because i don't got the time to spent in grinding games like poe.

So im not asking this to blame anyone, i'm happy with exilebuddy. But this season i can't really play with my friends, because they are way ahead with their gear.

Judging purely based on the above comments, you're not familiar with how bots like this work. It is not realistic to release a 'core bot' as it is the core that needs to be updated every time. It is taking especially longer due to the changes GGG made just before Ascendancy released. I imagine that what pushedEx has to do, because of that update, is the equivalent of sorting a 200kg container of numbered rice - and they have to be sorted numerically from one upwards.

It is unfortunate but that is why PushedEx wants to change up the system to make the update process faster.

In the meantime, there are other products in the market that can suffice if you're willing to risk it. I know how you feel, I have not played much this season due to time constraints and do not have the bot available to farm currency for me. On top of this, I'll be waiting probably a further week after release, to avoid likely bugs as well as an almost guaranteed banhammer for those accounts that suddenly become active for large hours on the same day this bot is released.

Well, there's always someone that will come up with "XXX IS UP AND NOT EB, WHY IZ DAT" if you wanna find yourself on reddit 2 days after, go on, use it, else just wait :)
 
Compiler changes on PoE didn't make things easier..... It's like working on a mustang for years, then they give you a Tesla.
 
I'm fine with the changes, been drinking the whole holidays xD I'm just hoping the whole community will be familiarized with the changes so we could update our stuff before the beta comes out. Closed circle of people has direct contact to pushedx, maybe they even have access to pre-beta release of the beta, I don't really care (as long as they are helping with developing, not just using the time to earn $), I just want to get the data as soon as possible to have enough time to update my things.
 
lol. It's sad that no one except us few trust pushedx. Tinfoil hats all around. Thank god Pushedx trusts me and let me test the beta.
 
Writing this drunk, but I think I mean the other way around. Pushedx trust few people, not few people trusting pushedx. I trust in his skills and I know how developing works and understand why it's taking so long.

Do like everyone else who isn't posting whine posts 24/7, get temporary liscences for some other bot. I got 10buddy keys and it sucks not being able to use them because it is the superior bot, but work around the issue rather than waste your own and other peoples time and energy.

Right? Starting a total redesign the day a huge patch is pushed out that loads of people want to play seems like a bad idea to me, especially when your competitor releases a working bot a few days later and you still aren't done after a month. It'd be like Microsoft releasing the Xbox 1 in November ready for Christmas, and Sony waiting until late January when the Christmas rush is over to release the PS4. It's just bad.

A version with updated offsets and some bugfixes could've been released days after Ascendancy if that, and the new version with extra features worked on once that was released.

API documentation is vital for people to contribute to the bot, it's hardly an optional extra. It also doesn't take 2 weeks to write that little.
 
to first release something that works then rework it is the dumbest logic you guys come up with. Stop complaining and saying your paying customers as if this is walmart or a retail store, noone gives a shit! In botting bans, bugs and DOWNTIME is part of the game

This downtime is unnecessary. I'm fine with waiting though, my point is that from a business standpoint rewriting a bunch of stuff now wasn't well thought out. When Ascendancy was launched, POE hit record numbers of active players which should've meant record numbers of EB users, but the exact moment when demand was highest a 1 month plus rewrite was started.

+1 on that, Not to Mention, that we may use buddy again, when ex are 2$ in perandus...

This bot is for casual botters, the real heads already made their bucks in beginning of league.
when u guys can start to auto quest, most others are already running std again cause league isn't worth it anymore.

I understand a downtime. But full a rework on a new league, same as last time.... I don't know.... Sounds stupid to me as well.

Jk bro, but you have to be aware that what you're saying about "unnecessary" is wrong. The bot couldnt run even with just an offset change, the client (poe) itself has changed way too much.

In a marketing approach, I'll give you an example :
- You want to buy a car, the guy say ok, 1k$ (yo it's a bro deal trust me)
- Tomorrow the same brand but new model (almost the same but more powerful) is out, for the same price.
Do you wait to buy your car?

Botters in poe are a small part of the playerbase (lol I included bots with players huhuhuhuhuhu) we're not in a hurry, I can understand that for hard-train botters it's a big loss, but we're not a lot around there to reach this peak.

If you wanna play perandus, play it by hand, what's the fun in botting if it's just for gearing. (except when you're a dummy and don't know how to play the game)

I can't follow you on this, it's selfish and wrong. pushedx is working alone on this bot, making it as advanced as possible for us, little morons but also as safe as possible. Nobody wouldve decided to rework the bot entirely 1/2 months before awaknening announcement, because it's stupid, anticipating in that case is the worst thing ever.

I HAVE A FUCKING BOT READY FOR AWAKENING (not tested tho) then on release everything breaks and we're all fucked because 1 month downtime is required to fix it, get my point?

GGG made an "awesome" job by fixing a lot of things, not even expected by pushedx itself. Give him some time, m3h.
