[Bot] Prosto_Pets: Battle Pets 4 in 1, and more

How would one create a stationary profile for this for say rare spawns such as baby ape etc. Have tried mucking around with blank profiles but nothing came of it.

that isnt a bad question. not sure what adding only 1 hotspot would do... with apes you wouldn't really need to move i guess since the island is very small... i may look into this sometime over the next week or two because i am curious about it as well...
 
Okay guys I have a question. I cant provide a log since the log file is 30mb :S

I started the bot before going to a party. I set it to level only my favorite pets, which I had picked before starting the bot. I got back from the party just now, and the bot had stopped. I had been disconnected from wow, likely due to being afk. I logged back in, and all 3 of my pets had died, so Im guessing that's why the bot stopped.
Here's the question though: How come the bot doesnt wait 8 mins for the Revive/Heal pet ability? Can I get some sort of item or another ability through Battle Pet quests that I need in order to run this bot perfectly?
 
I love this bot so much. Amazing way to level characters and pets.

The only thing that is needed to make it complete - a PvP mode.

One way or another I want to create a pet battle botbase that does it all, because that is something that is missing when it comes to Honorbuddy. I want to create something that catches all missing pets, trains pets specifically for daily boss fights, does the celestial tournament and so on and so forth. I have a huge feature list here and I was willing to put a lot of that into Presto_Pets. I do realize that sometimes you just need a break, but I also know that a lot of projects simply die when the people creating them lose interest and I also dislike being left hanging without notice. Until Prostak says something we just won't know what's up.

In a few days my own botbase for pet battles will be quite a bit ahead of what Presto_Pets does now and I guess at that point I would just release it. This way he could continue his work if and when he comes back. My own botbase only reuses the pet tactics from Presto_Pets which I designed myself, but it can do the same and a few things extra. I already said in my tactics post that I thought about creating one myself and I have been doing it on the side just to see if I could pull it off. Turns out it is easier than I expected, so I don't see any problems in finishing the job.

I have already applied for the title of Community Developer (but haven't heard back yet), because I would need to put the botbase up in the store. Since my bot is going to do quests, I need to restrict access for german users and the easiest way to do that would be through the store. So that has to happen before I can even think about releasing it.

EDIT: Just saw that I was approved as community developer, so that last point is moot now. :-)

TLDR;

If he doesn't come back, I will release my own botbase which, in a few days, will be able to do more than Prosto_Pets does now.

For what it is worth, even if he does come back the community as a whole benefits from having 2 bot bases. I'd love to see your one in action.

man that is really hard to answer what went wrong, but if your log is 30mb then there was a lot happening one way or another...

Did you favorite enough pets that it could rotate through? 10-15 pets is what I do as a minimum at all times. What mode were you running and where? Did you have it setup to start relative at level 1 and work its way up? That method is added more as having it be all inclusive and is not really a recommended method of leveling, especially if you are only going to level a few at a time..

Need more info to help you, but I'd recommend looking back at some of the past few pages and see the best way to power level pets.

Doesn't bot work with Russian version of game?
 
any chance of making a farming profile with this to for specail pets like the unborn'vlkry would be great other than that works good.l gets stuck in ice crown trying to stay on one of the ship there and doesnt fight in shadowmoon valley in dreanor

Hey Studio60 what are the chances we can make this work with a level 3 pet menagerie. Because you can do the battles over and over at the post

Currently, none, unless Prostak shows up again since Studio doesnt really want to muck about with his codebase to much yet... But Studio is working on a botbase of his own that will be able to do boss-fights among otherthings. So once that is released I would say there are serious chances of pet battling in the garrison.

im abit lost in this bot

i have 3 pets, that i would like to level up, they are all 6 ish, is it so in this bot that you just click lock team and it will level your pets trough different zones?


becouse now it only stays outside sw pet battling low level pets that doesnt give xp
