I'm excited! I like the logic idea. VERY VERY nice idea. This WAS/IS needed in ALL Bot bases. maybe you're just the creator of it!!! :) Now if they could do a call for those via combat routines... OMG AWESOME!!!

One thing I noticed over the weekend was the quest object interaction. I was in the Undead starting area and even though I couldn't pick up the quest (forsaken only) all the bots would run off to a grave and repeatedly interact with it. Turning the interaction off was fine and they would continue as normal, but it's going to be annoying if I have to constantly turn if off and on.

Currently RAF'ing 5 toon with this from scratch so I can report on how it goes, but the initial setup and use makes me excited! Keep up the good work!
 
Oh nice I like the teleport with leader option... I always have to manually do the tele out than back into instance to turn dungeon quests in.. So that will be awesome sauce.
 
Yepp... I was making the same sounds at the end of the video... I want this so bad!!!!

Correct and make it as robust as possible. I like avoiding AOE honestly in dungeons like Mogu'Shan palace...

(swords and shit flying through air.)

Also a "center on top of me" button or macro or feature we could run would be nice to have all the toons center directly on top of me while i only control the tank. This ensures the healer doesn't die along with the dps who were 2yards away from evading death because they weren't centered on top of the tank.

Example would be that dungeon forgot the name... with the tornados and the last boss and the electrical storm involved. ;)

So when you get it to a dungeon, or need a tester lemme know! :D I have 5 boxes hot and ready to rock. Level 90s who can do heroics. (3 warrior DPS, 1 warrior tank , 1 druid healer.)

Is there a panic button possible also? Like I talked about in other post?

If all else fails, panic button pushed, all of them group in close to me and lock in place unless I press it again. I'd love to panic, attack button, panic... Attack... over and over keeping my toons out of crap. :)

Hell I love what I see so far... Already super excited, just giving the good feedback. :)

Same getting very excited about this!! I too have 5 accounts although they are brand new with fresh lvl 1's that I'll be starting to level this week and am happy to help out / test whatever you need!
 
Progress today has been slow but steady, and quite productive.


Grinder (simple mob grind option)
  1. Mostly rewritten and is working 100%. Likewise is the Grinder UI; adding, editing & removing Hotspots and mobs has been rewritten.
  2. A brand new looting / skinning logic has been written specifically for Grinder, as the other looting logic is considerably more robust and designed specifically to handle loot conflicts (when you have multiple people trying to loot the same item at the same time and being presented with a message saying you can't do that right now). The new loot logic is designed specifically for single player looting where those conflicts do not exist, thus, allowing a much quicker and smoother looting process.
  3. Skinning is now supported and working beautifully.

  1. Various tweaks that make everything look pretty and shiny.

Will the get out of stuff logic work in raids btw? I have tried to run 3 healers in raids with 2 slaves but the problem is even with the settings set to 1 follow, still has issues.
 
Fpsware RAF Bot features a profileless grind option for those times you need to grind something but don't want to do it yourself, or its so small you don't want to create a profile for it.

In as little as 3 click (literally only 3 clicks) you can setup RAF bot to grind all night long* (I wouldn't do that, but you get the idea).

1. Add a hotspot - move to the area you want to grind in, hit the Add button.
2. Add a mob - target the mob(s) you want to kill and hit the Add button.
3. Enabled in Grinder

* Grinder is not recommend for AFK use. It does not vendor, repair or blacklist. If shit breaks you need to be there to fix it.

Hey guys I'm looking for some quick feedback on a new feature I'm considering implementing, Triggered Actions. This will be implemented into Grinder only.

A little background; Grinder is a simple yet effective mob grinder bot built into RAF bot. Basically anything you want to grind this will do it. You add some hotspots, the mobs you want to kill etc and click the button. It will kill all the specified mobs within the given range of a hotspot. If there are no mobs near the current hotspot it will move to the next one, and so on. No profiles are necessary, just a few button clicks and you're away grinding.

Triggered Actions, feature idea.

I recently set one of my characters to grinding away for some specific materials, I returned ~30 minutes later to find I had some unwanted attention by the opposing faction. What would have been nice is if my character had logged out or maybe even moved to a completely new location. Hence the idea behind Triggered Actions.

Currently the only triggers you can setup are: HasItemCount, ElapsedMinutes, PlayerCount. And the only actions are: Return Home (to user defined location), Logout, Dance (everyone wants to party). For example if you set the triggered action as follows:
Trigger Action When: [HasItemCount] Ghost Iron Ore | Qty:200
Action: Return Home

So after you've harvested 200 Ghost Iron Ore it would return to your defined home location and wait. All nice and simple. EDIT: This is not a good example as if you were harvesting Ghost Iron Ore you'd be flying, Grinder is not designed for this but you get the concept behind the idea.

But I'm after ideas on how I can expand on this, how can I make it better, what do you want it to do? What would you use Grinder for and what triggers / actions do you see being useful?

Keep in mind Grinder was only meant to be a SIMPLE grind bot. It does not use profiles, it does not load / create any profiles.

Sounds like a decent idea, e.g. to farm Motes of Harmony for few hours (doing it, and I'm so upset to have to make a profile on HBRelog to do it) quicker and easier, would certainly be useful for some people, not everyone, but still.
If it works as intented, go for it :) glad to see you're still upgrading possibilities for this amazing work !
