[Bot] (Beta) DungeonBuddy - A Dungeon bot.

The posts between hardo and xmolda got me thinking I should wipe scripts and meshes. I'm hoping to see a change from my heroics last week. Unfortunately now I have to sit out an extended maintenance on Tuesday...let's hope blizz doesn't have any surprises!

New HB release has some old unused scripts so those will need to be deleted manually. Make sure 'Auto update scripts' is enabled in Dungeonbuddy settings and delete everything in the Honorbuddy/DungeonScripts/ folder and restart HB. It'll take a min or so to download all the scripts. No Dungeonbuddy update was included in this new release :mad:

I tried deleting it, but now even with the "Auto update scripts" on true, it's not even adding them again and it's still saying no ID30 etc
 
I have noticed repeated issues with the bot not being able to repair as it believes it can't find the vendor, this happens even if it's standing right on top of the vendor, and in that case opening the window manually seems to fix it as it then repairs and requeues.

It doesn't seem to happen every time but when it does it stops the whole group, trying to narrow the issue down and hopefully have more info for you.

Edit: added extract from log when this happens. I clicked the vendor to open the window and it repaired when it found him, otherwise it would have just continued looping (there should probably be some throttling so it doesn't loop so aggressively).

Can you add a change spec option on dungeon buddy say like for monk where I can play as a brewmaster while questing and then when a dungeon queue pops it switches to mistweaver
 
Finally decided to test the dungeonbuddy again. Though most bugs have already been noted.
Siege of Niuzao Temple really does have a hard time with bombs. I couldn't get past without doing it manually.
Unlike others, I for some reason did not have an issue with Scarlet Halls
Also, are scenarios really supported? It would not load for me, just said that their were no scripts located.
I saw MoP Raids under Farm as well, seems to good to be true, do any of the raids work? Even older ones? I'd be curious to try it out, but I'd hate to be obvious bot in a raid group.

Mylo - next time you get this, try dumping you bags at a mailbox or bank. The bot does weird things with certain items in our bags. Most of the time results in bots not moving in the instance - but I think the vendor thing may be related too.

Last time I mailed all my items to an alt everything continued fine...but no rhyme or reason - i haven't identified the specific items yet.
 
Want to thank everyone that suggested wiping mesh files and dungeon scripts. I also found the wrong targeting settings on a few of my bots that were questing before teaming up. I completed my first heroic today with my team (one DPS controlled by me)
 
Wish there were a higher DPS routine that worked with DB reliably. If any one had recommendations let me know. Purerotation didn't move for me (pretty sure it isn't built to).

On heroics i'm looking at 15k average with singular. 22-24 tops. I can do 38-40 manually without much difficulty overall on average (non burst).

Had the same problem on one system, but on my other system it worked perfect..
So if the scripts do not autoupdate, look futher in your system.. I still havn't found out why on one system it does update and the other not.
Must have something to do with firewall settings or even in your .net release.. i have reinstalled a clean win 7 and new .net no firewall and it worked again on both systems (both Win 7 Ultimate in bootcamp)

As for some scripts not loading.. i found also an issue with the scenario scripts as they are ally only based for now, for what i read High Voltage is working on a set op Horde 90's for making those.. :)

So clean up your bot (clean install) try to reinstall .net, check firewall if that don't work do like me reinstall windows and .net en clean buddy, should work then.
Or... wait for new hb release prolly after 5.2 with updated DB and scripts :)

Trying to help Hapie out here guys...

He's got errors with Dungeon ID's 24 and 30.

I looked here: Honorbuddy Profile Writing: Continent ID and Dungeon ID List - Buddy Wiki

This is old and doesn't have any of the Panda dungeons - and those ID's are so low they don't seem to match the ### format of the other Dungeon ID's.

I've recommended a fresh install, and posting a log to have someone with more coding knowledge look into it.

Edit: Tried playing with www.wowhead.com links and failed as well.

Like - www.wowhead.com/zone=24 or 30 for example and I get "This zone doesn't exist."

I was running fine yesterday - gonna load it up and see what I get. It's really odd how for some this is working fine and for others it's borked.

I'm running panda dungeons now though...

You just updated dungeons scripts a few minutes ago and now I cant do Stormstout Brewery (normal). Being doing it all day but this error apears now, I dont post a log beacuase I know for a fact that everyone should be getting the same problem now.

Deleting the heroic one does not let me do this dungeon in normal either
 
This has to be on the server end then. Im backing up mine before starting today. Will post if it matters one bit. I will set scripts scripts not to auto update.

Im sure high volt is on it -or will be soon.
