[Bot] (Beta) DungeonBuddy - A Dungeon bot.

INSTANCE Temple of the Jade Serpent,

He runs around in a spot a few times wtf is with that.

First boss sits there like a noob running back an forth be-twin 2 points

That is caused by jump links in the mesh that were placed there to bridge gaps in the mesh caused by invisible walls.
Gaps caused by invisible walls have since been removed
I've requested for the jump links to be removed.

unrelated: There's a bug with the forums that prevents me from viewing my threads unless I log out first which is kind of annoying.

@r0sc0: Dps will no longer prioritize units that the tank is targeting next release. Their target priority is now based on number of group members targeting unit and units health percent.

This is excellent news. Focusing down single targets are very important! It kills dps having to re-apply dots etc.

Very important is to add avoid mobs (Like the dogs in scarlet monestary.)

This helps explain why manually pushing the bot along helps it continue on with the fights there.

Razer if ur hell bent on seeing the fight in that dungeon - manually move the tank at the points they are stuck.

The team will down the bosses if you help them get there. Actually the fights fight are pretty reliable and consistent, which is why it's a shame there were mesh issues.

bot leaves the holiday dungeon while the 3rd boss is still up and the fight is still going...

I am dpsing not tanking :) I am going too edit some of the code today and see what happens.
 
Highvoltz, when can we expect that release for the targeting? has there been anything done with avoidance as it does those little dances which looks so botty its unreal?
most of the times people can heal them regardless, maybe a check if other people are in it then go in kind of thing.

it queues up the dungeons, accept the queue, then it just stands at the entrance and doesn't do anything. even when mobs come to him he won't attack he just stands there and does nothing. I don't know what i did wrong, i didn't change any settings it just won't work for me. Can anyone help me please.

About the holiday dungeon, the same happened to me, bots re-queue before the fight is over. I went back and did it again and I think the reason is that according to the dungeonprofile Kummel is the last boss, but the bots kill him way before the other 2 apothecaries. So the bot thinks it is over when Kummel dies, when in fact you arent done. That the only thing I can think off.

As a side note....
Scarlet Halls and Armsmaster Harlan has started to act up, I have done this dungeon with 2 teams now on heroic and never had any troubles with avoiding the Blades of light, now I had to give up since they got caught in it all the time. Never ever happened before, anyone else experiencing this ?

You will need to delete the Honorbuddy\Dungeon Scripts\Cataclysm\Dungeons\Blackrock Caverns Heroic.cs file.
 
Any one have any luck with any heroic pandaria dungeons? If so can you recommend?

I tried stormstout and it was a miserable failure. Tank wasn't waiting for healer. Warlock wouldn't wait for the dead tank and pull himself. Druid dps would go revive / rebirth and pull.

Group got in an endless loop of pull and wipe.

Admittedly my team barely has the ilvl req for heroics...but what the hell is so wrong with Heroic vs. the Normal version of stormstout? The normal runs very well for me.

(aside from getting cut off from entry on the ook fight bcause they chase hozen too far away to get back before the tank pulls boss).
 
I changed the code in the default profile for The Crown Chemical Co (This is in Honorbuddy\Default Profiles\DungeonBuddy\Holidays) to the following and has sofar been able to rerun the instance 5 times without having it regarding the instance finished before we killled all mobs. As always, it's just my workarounds to get stuff to work for me and not real fixes :)

As to recommending MoP instances, I have been doing transmog runs the last couple days and are not really up to date right now, will run my 2 teams through em a few times and see how it goes. But the ones I know I avoided before was :

shado pan monastary - The bots just runs towards first boss pulling everything, not fighting nothing.
Temple of the Jade Serpent - mesh issuse making this one impossible

It seems like I will have to add Scarlet halls to that now when the bots no longer avoids blades of light. I will try to get back with a more detailed account.

On the whole Im very happy with DB at level 90, I can do most every dungeon on heroic not having the problems I see others having, ofc, one have to realise that it is bots running the show and they will never be as good as live people and will wipe on stuff you and me would have been embarrassed to wipe on :)

The MOP heroic scripts just uses the normal versions because there's nothing new in MOP heroics besides increased damage and health.
