Blizzard Has Sued Us

Hey I am s1 who purchased a HB Account Yesterday.

In Germany is it much harder to close such a projekt like HB... I Hope HB will stay.

xD Lol Warden will do nothing becouse it is a Memory Scanner o.O. And they wouldn't sue Bossland if they could ban the Bot... Thats why they are angry... Glider had used Mouse Hooks witch they could detect. Hornorbuddy use Protected Secure Codecaves to do the Job like Lua Do CTm and so on...

Blizzard could update warden to find HB and ban it whenever they wanted, as with all programs that interact with wow via injection.

Not necessarily, as they would first need to find out how HB works around warden each update and then update it and sneak it in without The Devs knowing. There is a reason why the bot is down after patches, for warden protection update, offsets update (including new functions, relocations etc.) and ofc. testing of the new product.

I am not sure if this is true, as I imagine they would have done so to a greater extent if they could. Especially as it would be much cheaper than the lawsuit.

Sony BMG did. They installed a root-kit on everyone that bought their CD's.. They got SUED HARD AS SHIT!
 
I had glider when something like this happen, I did not care as much cause glider suck. HB is way better than glider. O well I already pre order star wars knights of the old republic so in its release I will stop playing wow which I've played since 2005. Hopefully you can stay open and are not order to stop your services by the courts like glider was. All I can say is even is star wars ends up sucking balls, without HB I wont come back to WoW, I'm sure many feel this way.

How do you think Honorbuddy runs that Lua code? They inject it to the client by hooking a call in D3D - it's basically the same thing.

Lol, you pre-ordered a game that came out in 2003? Nah, I know you meant to say SW: The Old Republic. I've been following that very closely and am also anticipating it's release. I was lucky enough to pre-order my collector's edition box before they sold out.
 
It makes me annoyed that theres nothing that can be done with blizzards sht. I now if HB goes down I wouldnt want to go to a rival company. I want to use just HB. Even if it meant I'd have to pay for the new hb bot. I just like this community, service and best of all the bot its easy to use but with plenty of features. =(( I hope for the best!

This lawsuit will still take atleast a year to follow through. And from hawker's interview it sounds like they will be able to maintain updates up until atleast a verdict has been found.

I'm certain you will be able to get your money's worth.
