Beware of 'friends'

lololol

i only have 3 people whom i added in friends list from public game....the rest are real life friends whom i sell gold to.

afaik, you cannot remove the Recent Player list, hopefully in future patches.

But one thing that is important to remember is that just because you can see them on recent players, that doesn't mean they can see you. For instance if I team one person, once, and never again anyone else. He will always stay on my recent players list.

But if he teams 30 other people, in the same time. I will disappear from his recent players list.

unless he is a botter ^.^

Dudes its Naruto....don't mess with him.

BELIEVE IT!

Some people. My friend is angry that I bot, only because he didn't want to pay 30 some odd dollars for a bot and now he cannot even pay if he wants to!

worst case is ppl can view your profile and find out how much gold you have collected which i feel is kinda lame without any privacy lol

...Seriously? Just a bit too dramatic don't you think.

Not at all. I honestly hate people who snitch out others, especially in the way he's doing it. Giving battle tag, saying how much he makes a day and all those details. If I knew this person and he did it to me, I would find him and jump him with a crowbar to his legs.

Theoretically, you could argue that you share your account with your friends and run Sarkoth 24/7 manually.

Edit... okay, maybe I shouldn't quote a post from the first page, while also not paying attention to the page count. lol

yeah. dont ever join any public games.

if you have insane amount of money collected. and killed liek only 1000 mobs totals.! thats kinda wierd.

and on my main account. i do check every fucking account i came cross to.

also i do have some wow friends who plays d3. and them joined public games while they were leveling. never again joined any public after that.

never join any public game. if you see any chars in your list. and you dont know them. put them on ignore. thats what you can do now. :/
i tried it out. seems like you can still see people in your "recent" list. even while you are ignored by them. you can send them message. but the message will not show up. you dont get any notification telling you are ignored.

Just like wow they think that they are getting cheated and want to whine.
Hell they should be crying about the $15 a month in wow or the great Jay and how he is improving this game each and every day.

Too dramatic... Hmm let's see I guess it depends, do YOU have $500-1k + worth of items/gold on your accounts you can afford to lose? I surely wouldn't like to lose what i've acquired due to some whiner who would rather waste his life grinding.

This is a general thought, not directed at any particular individual (this is a lie, it's directed at those of you who will get upset): I always find it amusing when people who are cheating are upset over legitimate players being upset that they are cheating and want the rules of the EULA enforced.

Video games were meant to be fun, now most of them have turned into a cash cow.

XtO

Time to fix this pricks attitude. He won't anything for too long. XD

Botting is free money. Entitled much? The fact that you would beat someone's face in over a videogame is disturbing.

the problem here is the battle tag is completely visible, you cannot give out peoples personal information, that image needs to be edited.

If your IRL friend got you banned and you have $1000.00 worth on currency on the account wouldn't you be pissed?

i find it highly doubtful that you would shrug it off.

Its so fucking funny how insanely entitled botters are,

YOU are the one violating eula / agb's, YOU are the one using a 3rd party program to get an unfair advantage, THEY have the right to whine that bots dont get banned, THEY are playing legitly.

People are even using the word, WHAT I'VE AQUIRED, i mean seriously a program you paid nearly nothing for is doing ALL the work for you stop being idiots and realize YOUR the one doing wrong.

Its like people getting caught taxfrauding complaining about the people paying taxes.
