Once DB is back up fo sho.shot?
IMO 2g memory gpu would be bottleneck, but I could be wrong. How many do you think this computer would be able to maintain?
Newegg.com - CyberpowerPC Gamer FTW 2004LQ Desktop PC Intel Core i7 3820(3.60GHz) 16GB DDR3 2TB HDD Capacity Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 2GB PCI-e Graphics Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
I've heard multiple complaints of 8cores having their distributions too low to be efficient.I built a mid-tower recently for ~$1200
Level 10 Thermaltake GTS (midtower) - $110
amd 8 core cpu 8150 - $199 (or ~150-160 for the 8120 version) (newegg or amazon)
ROG Crosshair V - open box (Newegg) - $153 (new is $220)
32 ram (4x8) @ 1.6GHz - $160 (Amazon.com - Komputerbay RAM; or corsair etc for $210-220)
Asus 7970 6 video out 7970 - open box (newegg) - $380 that I bought for main comp and put in my 'old' 6950 into bot comp ($240-260)
PSU - 1050w Kentek - $65 (Amazon) -- there are various psu's, since it was a bot comp... i didn't care; I personally use a 1200w silverstone in my main computer
Corsair H100 cpu liquid cooling - $100 Amazon or $115 Newegg (or you can get the coolermaster V6 GT for $47)
DVD burner - $20
120GB SSD - $80-100
Artic Silver Thermal Paste - $5
I bought some extra 200mm and 120mm fans as well; 4-pack coolermaster 120mm fans for $15, 3x 200mm fans for $19 each
The AMD 8 core is the best bang for the buck atm. The 2011 Intel's do out-perform them, but they're $500 for the processor and $200-300 for a mobo, which is retarded
I know some fanboi is gonna be like 'oh, well the 1366 <insert some fanboi remark here> and are around the same price as the amd chips>'
@OP - If you don't know how to build a PC, l2build; it's like 20 screws, a little bit of pluggin in stuff that you can't wrongly plugin and that's it. There's plenty of thermal paste guides out there... watch the newegg one where paul puts on arctic silver onto an intel chip
Demonbuddy runs @2-3% and D3 runs @0-2% @ 4.4GHz; I can boost it up to 4.8 on liquid cooling if it gets badOnce DB is back up fo sho.

I'm jealous you're still able to bot.Demonbuddy runs @2-3% and D3 runs @0-2% @ 4.4GHz; I can boost it up to 4.8 on liquid cooling if it gets bad

I'm jealous you're still able to bot.
On my quad core DB runs at 2% per piece and Diablo at 3-4%, so it's not a really big hop.![]()
Generally 0-3 for me anyways.yeah, the demonbuddy cpu% jumps around a lot, sometimes 0-1 and sometimes 2-3% depending on if its fighting or using a waypoint, etc
and who says i'm botting? lol. I don't really play d3, not my style; that was taken from when I was developing profiles and testing the first couple of quests before the random dungeon
Generally 0-3 for me anyways.
I just assumed @ the screenshot timeglad you guys are still developing.
If anyone has the time to post a ready to go, rocking system that could run 12-16 bots I'd appreciate it.
Earlier someone posted one from newegg - would that one handle around 12? Is that competitive?
I haven't bought a desktop machine in 6 years - sort of laptop junkie - I run 4 on my Malibal - could probably run another 4 without too much hassle but it's my main and I use it for other things.
Anyway, I'm not current enough to know what's beefy enough to handle it - any help on this would be fantastic.
I personally underclock my GPU by 1k revs and overclock my CPU to 3.74 to 4.2 while botting to keep up, I hit 95 percent usage with 12 bots.

AMD FX-8150
ASUS M5A99X EVO
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB
Radeon HD 6850
Crucial M4 128 GB SSD
System is cooled by a MO-RA3 9x120 Pro radiator and a Swiftech MCP35X pump.
I can run 5x d3 clients. 5x wow clients. they are all in low settings. I havent tried running more. I can still run bf3 in high settings while all those clients are running. system doesnt heat up much due to the cooling. love the system. runs 24/7 and is super quiet.

Maybe I should do one now... then get an internship and see if they'll let me use it![]()
