BattleGround Botting --- How Safe Is It Really? ---

I gave it a go with just BGbot and the Ultimate healer CC - and it went thud.... The first random was Arathi and it proceeding from the beginning to RUN to the Farm... not mount, RUN. Yea... that looked ridiculas! I let it go... and it got to the farm... and proceeded to defend it.
- I stopped the bot, chose Combat bot, and proceeded through the rest of the BG.

After that I tried EoS... it ran off the top and healed itself... and then ran in what looked like a random direction - and this was after I specifically made sure to add my mount to the Settings...

Soooo... my first 2 attempts went 0/2. I'm not saying it's the bot and I'm not attaching logs yet... I'm going to try it again tomorrow afternoon when I get the chance and try a few things (like turning off the mount in the general settings to see if that may be confusing the Bg bot botbase)... If those don't work, then I'll post logs to see if others see what's going on. I'm probably going to keep it really simple at first... force feed it AV... and if that works as designed, get more complicated after that.

I've been running EOTS on my resto druid and shadow priest for about 6 hours straight and not a single problem. I havent had to touch anything. My druid is either top heals or in the top few every BG and my shadow priest is ehhhh. I have "use mount" checked, my fossilized raptor in the box for the one to use, "automatic" checked, "random" unchecked, and set mount distance to 35 yards.

Yeah i dont get why everyone complains. I run my shaman my mage and my warrior all qued for av at the same time. its funny watching how much the shaman heals. the mage and warrior always do well and their gear isnt great. getting about 500ish honor per hour on each of them, which i am more than stoked about to be honest.

Season 9:

I got a Paladin (holy), Shaman (resto) -- 2 sets S9, Druid (resto) -- 2 sets S9, priest (disc), and a warlock (aff) set.

Season 10:

I got two Warlocks full S10 sets, Shaman 2 sets, druid 1 set (did resto for feral gear), and 2 sets for my priest (as disc).

Clearly -- healers = win. But anyway, no bans during that time.

Just got 3 suspensions (3 accounts) for leveling too quickly (too much time played straight) with questing profiles, tho. Doubt the pvp is related.

Just make sure you don't pvp for days at a time.

Gearing my shaman and rogue, they do a bang up job. Not all CC's work though, I have yet to find a warlock CC. Shaman was the absolute best CC ever, that guy healed his ass off, nobody would report a guy that tops healing charts.

Here is my 2 cents, i've been using BG(beta) bot for my DK, farming about 16 hours a day i have gotten a full set of season 10 gear. I find very minute differences in pvp to bg bot.. meh whatever didn't really study them too hard, but i do find that bg(beta) has been working well for me to afk for 2 - 5 hours come back and its still running. Safe? (check mark) so far.

Botted and bought Justice Points and bought maybe 10 heirloompieces, and 2 85 with full Vicious. Not a single ban, never a single complaint from someone in the BG!

I've been doing SOTA AFK this weekend. Started it yesterday and I fell asleep. Not sure how long it ran but I was dc's when I woke up at 6. Started it today and it worked fine for a few hours then it all went to shit. Reinstalled everything and its been fine again. I've farmed every piece of PVP gear including weapons on my Rogue since yesterday. I'm using BG Bot. Averaging about 2k honor per hour.

i have geared 5 toons with season10 gear by botting bg's and havnt had a problem so its pretty safe

You could be unlucky and get banned the first time you run the bot to PvP or you could have it run a 100 days in a row and still be ok.
That is the risk you take when botting and you should never bot on anything that you can't afford to lose, as this is the risk every botter takes when he puts the bot into use

I've been running BGBot on the weekends with the CTA. Last weekend I ran my warrior who was in greens and blues(fresh 85) overnight Friday and woke up with 5/5 2 rings and the s9 mace. I use Singulair, Mr.Honorcap, autoprecision. I turn AutoEquip off since I don't want to run around with no gems or enchants.

This weekend I ran my priest who was in blue heroics gear overnight. Woke up with 4/5 and the trinks. We werent winning as much as last week so honor per hour really diminished.
