BattleGround Botting --- How Safe Is It Really? ---

I haven't seen glitches in a while plus randoms provide so much more honor and exp. Also I suggest you make sure your bot is set not to use a flying mount in BG's that looks bottish imo.

I was using bg bot to wear up my 2 characters. It was around 60k honor for both of them - ofc no ban, no1 even written in chat that my chars ar bots or something like this.

i've botted out about 8 FULL SETS of gear, every last piece, and i havn't had a ban. My only advice, give your bot some time off, just like a normal person would need. I wouldn't ever bot for more then 15 hours at a time. 8 hours of sleep for your bot atleast and you're pretty safe in the bg grind. Make sure you have a decent CC and you should be good to go.

Just farmed an amount of 55k over the weekend (enough for 2 full PvP sets), without any whispers or anything. So I'd say it's safe enough for me atleast.

For alliance doing EotS is funny. Every time it starts , my bot hurls itself off the starting spot hitting the ground taking 60k plus damage then dismounts immediately and sits down to eat. Every time. And I don't afk often doing BGs, I've seen other bots running same exact path/ way point as me at same time. Would be great to have an all bot vs bot BG lol

Nearly got 100k honerable kills achiev and i started botting at around 20k over a timespan of 6months and i haven't got a ban so, guess i've been lucky

HAHA this would be funny in wsg, eots, sota and the other objective bg's.. Imagine that bg?

I actually did a bg early this morning where 3/4 of horde and alli were bots and sadly it was Isle bg with 40ppl.. I filmed both factions running side by side not attacking for a good while.

what cc do you all use for DK( dw frost), warrior (arms) and druid (kitty or tank). I want to do bg but the times i tried the bots does not do much of anything, just follows people or goes to a hot spot and stands there for most part. Rarely does it attk, unless i help it out. I dont know if it is a bot or cc issue as it only happens in bg's.

For feral druid I use Fpsware Druid 4.1 and for DK I use Epidemic. Both work great in BG's for me. I'm not sure why you're toons don't attack. - Oh btw, my DK is not frost... Epidemic is recommended for Unholy

If you are not sure what CC to take for whatever class, I'd go with FPSwares' CC's, they are as far as I've seen always very nice.

I tried Epidemic on my 2H frost DK and it didn't do too well. Singular is the best for 2H that I've tried. I've watched it completely rape people in BG's. The only time it really sucks is when he's chasing a ranged while melee just kill the hell out of him. He won't switch to the melee. For a Druid I use HazzResto for Resto and FPS for feral. I don't have a warrior so I can't help you there.

i run HB about hmmmm 23 hours a day that other hour is me buying gear and just messing around. bg bot is pretty safe the main thing is to watch out for is other players i so far have botted my pally from 1-85 in 7days playing time with bg bot and questing to lvl 10

Thanks for the reply,, I use fpware for drood and dk ,, it does so~so i have to help it alot, was better a month or so ago. for warrior i have been using gladiatore again the same.. well guess i will keep trying and see where it goes.. I can say i like how the cc work in dungeons/raids, great work from developers.



*** Maybe I should of been clearer, once in combat the cc does well. The problem is getting into combat, i run around all over the place without any purpose. most of the time it will run past combat or stop in the middle of no where running back and forth. I have tried using squire and simple follower but to no help. I dont know what else i can do to better my situation... If i control the movement its great, but i would like to leave alone a few hours a day and do other stuff. left it on over night and made like 700 honor.

GOLD SELLING: Sure ban
GRINDING: Very high risk
PVP (battlegrounds): High risk
GATHERING: Moderate risk
FISHING: Safe
INSTANCEBUDDY: Safe
ARCHEOLOGY: Very safe
COMBAT ASSIST: "LAZY RIDER" (combat or heal botted with player movement control): Minimal chances of banning

INSTANCEBUDDY: Safe you put this as SAFE yet label pvp as unsafe.... there seems to me to be alot more flaws im instance buddy than PVP as long as u have a CC worth using... agreed with many others healing is prolly best, toss squire onto it so it follows largest density of people and its pretty pwnage. I Have 6= chars capd in honor and Jp nightly(if needed JP boots sell good on my server) and full t10 .

Yea no idea about frost, but epidemic is fine for unholy.

Not sure, could it be something to do with pull distance being too low? Not sure, just throwing the idea out there.
