BattleGround Botting --- How Safe Is It Really? ---

I botted full pvp gear for 2 characters, no whisper, no ban. There will always be some kind of risk, but make sure to configure your class cc as "human" as possible. For example hunters, disable trap use for single targets, no hunter would ever use immolation trap to kill someone in pvp. Same goes for revive pet, seen lots of bot hunters who were under attack and tried to cast the allmighty 10 sec pet res spell...

trying to bot some bgs again, after having trouble with the previous hb versions. For example, stucks, walking in walls, etc etc.

av was always pretty flawless, however i dont understand your click to move point of view.

You run av till field of strife and then run back again to db... rinse and repeat... nothing fancy.

now as of lately, im getting stuck after getting out of the gy, every time.

im not interested in posting logs no more, since this bot issue, has been going on for AGES.

how about you reroute the complete bgs again, and make sure they dont get stuck no more.

as said many times b4... and ill say it again... for a payed bot, theres not much improvement.

now i cant even let my bg bot run 24/7 without being reported!

I've been running AV 8-10 hours a day for the last 4 days and it's been 99% flawless. My shaman sometimes wants to run up and down the IB tower steps occassionally and all my toons sometimes get hung up on the brazier on the right side of the gate into Frostwolf. Other than that, my rogue, who started in cata greens and blues is now ~3800 resil, so I'm pretty happy.

lol ive been using the BG Bot(beta) for like 2 months. I just go to sleep and wake up with 2-4k honor. Its fights and everything. Im not to worried about it.

Botting WSG CTA when its CTA and getting insane EXP when we win (10% each win), so I can't complain.

Never had any reports or any problems.

After a small break, 4 months or so i have reactivated my account to hang out with some friends doing some pvp. And during the time im at work i like to BG-Bot


And i must really say whoa BG-Bot has really turned into something great. At this point in time its kicking ass. And im sure it plays off my charcter much better then what im able to do myself. What i remember is that BG-Bot was midest at most, however i only tried it the first month it was released.

IMO the better your faction is at BGs the safer it is to bot. If your team is winning, nobody seems to give a shit that the bot may not be the best helper, but when there are consistent losses, people start to notice things more, and will start looking for AFK'ers and bots.

The BG Bot Beta is so awesome, it has very few flaws, and because it tracks the combat conditions and adjusts accordingly, in a good group, it shines, but in a bad group, it will constantly run into a group of enemys and die over and over and over.

2 full days (no overnight pvp botting) and the evening 3 days ago, and so far i have ALL season 10 items along with season 9 weapons. and over 27k honor made, win/loose ratio is along the lines of 40%win/60%loose. making about 500-700honor pr hour. From 0 to 3900 resi and i have not had to stop bot once because its messing up on its own.


I edited the CC which comes with Honorbuddy (singular) to use PvPHelpers code and it made 110% the difference. as it then does not chase every player all over the map and re-targets if a enemy goes outside a 40 yard radius, which then also makes it benefit from the double honor gain as it camps with every flag.

Heres an example, NOTE if you edit this the CC is useless in pve. As this targets players and players only.


Replace:

CreateEnsureTarget(),

With:

CreateEnsurePVPTargetRanged(),

Do this in your ..\CustomClasses\Singular\ClassSpecific\YOURCLASSHERE\YOURSPECHERE.cs

Will this also change the CC to select a new target if they go outside the 40yd range? That's one of my biggest problems with BG botting. Even though I have "target mounted players" un-selected, my toon will still target them SOMETIMES and chase them. This mainly happens in AV for some reason.

Yes as long as you change that in the pulling routine as well.

Playing as a healer is amazing. Depending on your gear your char will rock. Always getting whispers "dude nice heal" "thanks for saving me" and stuff like that.
BG botting is the highest risk as you don't deal with npc's you deal with real people. If you know how a bot acts you will soon know, who is botting. Especially when someone is botting a meele class.

IF you do bot bg's do it while watching tv or something where you can keep an eye on it.
