Banwave goes out targeting AH bot users

Well that's my opinion, i don't care if some random Chinese bots and sell the gold or items, it just makes the market richer with items, however i do get pissed when they use it for real money purposes getting rich thanks to automated programs and thus making a casual player suffer for it. I have never sold a copper in wow or d3 and all i do is farm, i just do it for fun and to have stock of gold for me and my friends.
Probably this sounds stupid but that's my opinion.

Heh, I bet it's also your opinion that central banking systems that inject currency into markets isn't taking away from the common man simply because you own a company that contracts with the gov't and receives a significant portion of the injected currency. Typically when people resort to "it's just my opinion", it means they no longer have rational logic to justify reason. Every piece of currency injected into a system, whether it be by human or bot, devalues every other piece of gold in the system. It's basic macroeconomics.

The real moral issue is whether or not it's fair for you to pay 16 euro to the Buddies for something that greatly devalues the currency of people who don't pay the Buddies. If you think your money given to the Buddy devs to make you gold despite what it does to the economy sits well with your conscience, then fine, but don't pretend for a second that it doesn't screw over non-botters. Personally I bot a ton and say screw everyone else, but I don't pretend that actions like mine don't have drastic effects on the in-game economy in aggregate.

the real vice killing the game is the RMAH, not botting. some of you clearly have the wrong picture. d2 is still alive and kicking after a decade of botting.

summary: RMAH/GAH botting makes an already p2w game even worse and the effects of it are clearly more far-reaching than botting itself - FACT. now stop with the moral mumbo jumbo 'we all are botters thus we should side with the AH botters' and slt.

You inferred the exact opposite of what I implied. I never implied to side with the AH botters. I implied that we're all only concerned with our own gameplay with near-complete disregard for others as a whole, myself included. The only reason botters on this forum are saying good riddance to AH botters (myself included) is because AH botters are the one type of botting that clearly negatively affected gameplay DB botters and legit players alike. From the perspective of a legit player, all botting negatively affects gameplay. That said, I'll bot until I'm banned, and then some.
