I not saying don't try I just think given the facts we have the options for appealing are limited.

I mean basically you have two options either you deny it and hope there is enough doubt to get it reversed. Given that this is obviously been a detection I doubt it will fly.
Or you plead guility and argue that since it is your first offence could it get reduced.

Personally, I think the second option would be better given that Blizzard believes giving you a 6 month suspension is going to make you wait it out rather than start a fresh (LOL!). I would suspect you could argue perhaps that 6 months of lost time on WoW will leave you significantly behind and deny you access to a significant portion of Legion content (7.1.5 and at least 7.2) making it a case of why bother coming back until next XP.
 
What ever happend to Legionbuddy? Using HB at this point is like playing russian roulette with 6 bullets in the chamber.
 
i was not event on for the past 2 day and i got ban too

any body know why i got ban too...i was not event on for the past 2 day and my and my wife acount got ban even the one that was ban allready

The detection "window" for HB this banwave was from the last 2-3 weeks. Anybody using Hb in that time frame was pinged.

They have been checking quite a while, as is typical with banwaves. I didn't bot (or log in) at all since November at least but was still banned.
 
Kinda sucks, but that's the risk we were all willing to take :) This is what i get for farming the golds so all i needed to do myself is have fun :)

I work 13 hour days and i bot for something to do.... i didnt lose anything worth talking about.. 1 account that had a 110 with 840 ilvl. Its nice to come home and have something to play on for an hour but.. 1 hour a day for the rest of my life would take a month to get to 110. Doesnt bother me getting banned
 
guess ill throw my hat into the ring, my account, that i had for 12 years, got banned:) Yes i know, stupid to bot on your main account but i never used anything other than the combat routine from Tuanha and the Enyo botbase:)

we could have been warned earlier...
used my acc only for raiding, raidbot + singular
 
guys, what is the real question here? when the bot will work again? well. blizzard banned my main acc.. who cares.. my achievs. mounts. toys. heirlo. all ther for me to use in the new account ill buy... now ill bot even more! hahahah. my wow account have been banned. my honorbuddy acount stills intact!!! hahahaha f**k u blizzard.. ill will bot forever!! and i know u just banned all at this point because u know that vacations are coming. and u will sell a lot of new accounts the next few days.. they pretend they care about bots...

Considering the date I think you will make it to right before or after the release of 7.2 and you should have a good opportunity to catch up though for those with a 1 or 2 year ban well... rip

Just try appeal and yes 99.9% you won't get any mercy from Blizz but some have good appeal stories that somehow makes them doubt their decision and they could reduce it 50% if you're winning the lottery.

I agree but the problem is that this detection was a rumor that could not be confirmed until this banwave... It would have been more convenient if HB made a huge topic warning people that their was a suspiscion of HB being detected and make it stick so people would read it... Unfortunately this hasn't happened and a lot of people didn't see this coming.

Tripwire is honorbuddy inbuilt protection that activates and shuts down honorbuddy when blizzard try to use Warden to catch our bots. Why people hate it is stupid, it saves us probably more often than we will ever know, however, ocassionally Blizzard are the step ahead and beat our team, like today.
