We’ve refunded $9.99 for 1,200 PokéCoins (Pokémon GO) to the payment method you used to make the purchase.

The time it takes for the refund to appear depends on which payment method you used. You can see the payment method you used, and the refund status, in your Google Payments account. Note that you may lose access to the purchased item.

If you have requested a refund for an app or in-app purchase, please note that while we occasionally grant refunds, we recommend that you contact the app developer directly for future support. You can find developer contact information in the Play Store app under the “Developer” section or on your purchase receipt.

To prevent accidental or unwanted purchases in the future, we recommend that you turn authentication on or change your password.

I got a total of 100 dollars instantly refunded. and all the other transations ive made have been put under a "review" for 2 business days. Hopefully those get refunded too because thats another 300.00 lol. fuck niantic.

It worked for me. I said my brother used my account without my knowledge and I got all of my money back.
 
Didn't even know this was an option! I've also just done the same for Google Play Music which I didn't know I'd been charged for 6 months for!

This one: "did not recognize this purchase" got me 3 of 6 refunded while the other 3 are pending. Hoping for the best.
 
I called Google and got all 3 transactions refunded. They commented to me on the phone that they have been doing this now more than any other app since PG came out.
 
I did the email and all got Declined so i called them and said that my brother was using my phone i was happy for him to do so but he can no longer play as the game wont let him connect, They refunded me everything back.
 
Guys I tried to return my purchases but I got denied every time. BUT I just got approved for all my refunds because I said its was an unauthorized purchase or I didn't recognize the purchase. I got instantly approved!

Call them (Google Play - look for Contact information). I told them that I let my "kid" use my phone to play the game and the child used my phone to purchase pokecoins without my permission. Now the game is not working due to an apparent ban after a recent trip. Tell them you need a refund and you will make sure that this will not happen again. Be friendly and they will help you.

This was a success!
I only spent 19.99$ on the game but hey, 19.99$ is 19.99$. I used it on ios apple itunes. you just report a problem and state the game completely changed with key features and it is unplayable with so much server down time. The game clearly wasn't ready to be released. I hope the people who spent 99.99$ get their refunds too. It took about 3 days to get response email with them saying it will take "up to 10 business day's" to see the return. I wonder how much money they lost in total due to refunds, if we can spread the word that people will get refunds i'm sure they will change. I'm not saying they will allow botting but they may change for the better.

Just wanted to tell how i managed to get a refund..

I tried around 10-12 times with the option "i purchased but didnt receieve" and "Purchased is defective".
Tried different white lies to explain my situation, but all i got was automatic answers.

However, on my first try i got a refund when i used "i dont recognize this purchase" - and wrote: Because you guys just give me autoreply, i need to try other options. I need a refund because i cannot enter my account. I got in touch asking pokemon support. They directed me here, and i havent gotten any other answers than that! Please guys, help me..

I posted on Page 3, initially I followed what Kick said, Google automated a response that was bullshit and that said take it up with the game provider. So I took another poster's advice and reported the transaction as unrecognized. I also included a comment that went along the lines of reaching out to the company and getting no answer, and that I was reporting it this way because the real reports were being automatically turned down.

The commentary, I think does not matter because all 7 refunds going back to July 8th were instant.

Seriously! this company gave no warnings at all

I wouldve spent more money on the game because I wouldve made multiple accounts and started buying extra bag space and crap like that. But they wanted to ban me so screw them!
