they arent stupid, they just put "autoreply" saying that they re busy or can’t provide a refund for the purchase. lol xD if you used paypal, just make a dispute in paypal and im sure you will win.

So I have figured out a way to bypass "but we can’t provide a refund for this purchase because it is outside of our refund policy" and got myself a refund.

Google Play

go there and scroll down and select your transaction click the 3 dots and report a problem ( choose "i don't recognize this purchase or charge" ) after that just made something up in the "Please describe your issue*"

Google Play wouldn't refund at all. I went to my credit card company to dispute the charges with Niantic. Anything under $10 was refunded immediately, rest put on hold until Niantic responds.
 
Just wanted to tell how i managed to get a refund..

I tried around 10-12 times with the option "i purchased but didnt receieve" and "Purchased is defective".
Tried different white lies to explain my situation, but all i got was automatic answers.

However, on my first try i got a refund when i used "i dont recognize this purchase" - and wrote: Because you guys just give me autoreply, i need to try other options. I need a refund because i cannot enter my account. I got in touch asking pokemon support. They directed me here, and i havent gotten any other answers than that! Please guys, help me..

An observation I made may or may not be linked to refunds. Nintendo share price lost 30% in the last 4 weeks. Hmmmm maybe they lost to much money on refunds???
 
If you have purchased coins on the PokemonGo App, you can get your funds back.

You can simply state:
I cannot log into the application to use my purchase. Please refund my money.

Here is how to do that via the play store:
Google Play

click the ... on the right of your purchase
[Report a problem]
Purchase is defective or doesn't work as advertised
[I cannot log into the application to use my purchase. Please refund my money.]
Submit

Do this for all charges for the app, and you will get emails stating that the funds have been returned. (15m - 48h)

I've tried all of them, and this is the fastest. You can also do 'I no longer want this purchase', but that only works for 48 hours after the purchase. If later than that, it's declined.

The above is the best method.

I got auto reply "unable to refund" too. Now I just submitted a support ticket in the Google Play Help Center.

^ Scroll all the way to the bottom and find "Need more help?", and click Contact us. Chose email or phone.

At least a real person will read it...

Careful

Google knows who you are, where you live, listen to all your calls (thanks google voice), and their AI Bots tell them what you are going to do before you even know what your going to do. I would be careful asking for all them coins back because they could erase you completely or post one of their AI bots on your ass for life to following you around making your life hell.
 
Have you all seen the teleporting as much as you want to get any pokemon you want that has been tubed by several how-toers already? I'm not going to be surprised if that one right there don't light their asses. I think that one probably has them ordering the BBQ sauce.

So, I have initially tried a refund for being unable to access the game, and I got the auto response. But then I have tried this (I just copy pasted it and corrected the grammar) and I got my refund almost instantly!

I also used "I don't recognize this purchase" followed by a short explanation in German. A couple of minutes later I got refund for my 3 purchases.

I tried this method after the other way didnt work for me for 3 of my charges, 2 were refunded immediately, the 3rd I got a email saying will be reviewed and will get response back within 2 days.
 
I did "I don't recognize this purchase." without typing anything in and got my refund confirmation emails instantly. Thanks.
 
Same. I did "did not recognize this purchase" and got a refund. Don't think they read the message, because it's almost an instant response.

Can confirm this worked for me also, I disputed 5 charges using this method and got immediate refunds on all of them. 10/10 would dispute again
