I remember this game i play Immortal ______ i bought gold and the detected next day few of my items were remove and the gold as well. and a warning was posted.

How do third party gold suppliers deposit the gold into someone's account? Do they join them in a game and transfer it? How would someone get into trouble or even get caught if that was the case?

First of all, did you try logging in? The email only says "greetings," and does not have anything that identifies you. This is the easiest way to tell if the letter is fake or not. I'm thinking this one is fake un;ess you removed the information for your protection.

What's weird is this was the exact email, word for word, what I received.

I knew everyone on my FL but anything is possible. Only 2 on my FL knew what I was doing only because they use DB as well. Like I said before though, I hadn't ran the bot for 2 days and turned it on for about 3-4 hours. Then banned. Seems odd to have been banned after that amount of time even if Blizzard had been monitoring my account.

$100 for a game, Had to get the CE. Huge Diablo Fan. Jokes on me I guess. Ha.

I've also heard of people using third party software and/or botting getting a 4 hour ban. At least giving the customer a chance to play the game again with out "hacks" or "bots".

Im scared now Ive pored A LOT of time and and money (IGG ONLY) into my chars/account, but I only have one diablo 3 right now and only one main acct. I havent heard of anyone getting banned from DemonBuddy till now. But its enough to scare me. If I get banned I will be so upset I lost all my chars and items. (wont care about having to spend 60 bucks to buy a new one, but i will care about the gear/gold I have currently) Making new level 60's will suck too >.<

I was thinking about doing this, will wait till tomorow (hopefully i wont get banned overnight ^_^)

problem with that is... to xfer Ill have to use sandboxie for the 2nd diablo or whatnot so I can run both at same time to swap over my gear im not using + gold + items + mats etc etc, and I have no idea how to use sandboxie

I wouldn't be too scared. I also don't think this is DB's fault in anyway. I believe it was some sort of user error on my part, just trying to figure out what may have caused this situation. But if it something you are worried about, maybe think about getting another account and using it as a mule. Peace of mind knowing your extra gold and items are on a safe account that has not been tampered with. I think it would be worth it to spend 60 bucks voluntarily before you're potentially forced to spend the money to just play the game again.

Very odd situation indeed. But how many of us are botting and so far we have only seen one confirmed ban. I am sure there is something unique and specific to why he got banned. You must have gotten extremely unlucky and had someone report you while you were AFK. Sorry for your loss, but at least you got your Diablo 3 cherry popped

Well ill deff get a new one over the weekend and guess I have to wait 72 hours. I dont know much about the trade lock out, im just assuming if you have a new acct you cant trade for 72 hours?

Still Ill have to figure out how to run 2x diablos :/ I have a lot of techie friends hopefully one of them can walk me through it on TS.

you can also bypass the block at skeleton king with a second account they only check there. I have a lvl 13with 0/0 xp that already killed diablo....

Wouldn't be great if Maddog was bashiok or one of the CM's trollin on the forums to try and stop the botting. =)

I don't have a lot of experience with bli$$ard's bans, but I strongly suspect that most of them happen due to datamining, not because a bot is actually detected.
If you look at the hellbuddy bot, their bot technically isn't detected and although many members have been banned there are still a huge number that haven't. If the bot were actually detected a good majority of them should have received bans.
The bans most likely are due to people using the same script for 20 hours a day or simply botting 24/7. I can't say for sure, but a lot of the scripts that may have become outdated from a patch may be dangerous to use as well. I know I used one that was messed up for some reason and it would just disconnect with an error message, remake the game, disconnect again, and reconnect over and over again, which seems like activity that may get you flagged. I've heard of another player using a script on a brand new character botting the act 1-1 quest before you received the town teleport, and the bot would use tp anyways, and he got banned with less than 15 hours of playtime on the account.
