Auto Angler - Addon that fishes and trains plus some other cool features.

I must so say so far this Plugin is awesome.

Just decided to try it on my GB bot DK started at 65 fishing now over 210 sitting at the Dalaran fountain. It has gotten alot of coins, and I have seen it throwing the golds back in for the buff.

And he trained as he was supposed to at 150.

When there's a school of fish in a water area that is not reachable by casting, the bot goes in a casting loop.
It says in the logfiles it's blacklisting the spot for 10 minutes, however it does not move on.
Therefor I assume it doesn't blacklist.

I gave it a waterwalking potion and then moved it to the school and started fishing ^^

i edited your plugin to apply the Savory Deviate Fish buff (pirate or ninja) gonna run it on crystal song and see if it's because i'm a gnome or not ><
 
Auto Angler 9003 Beta

  • Added Wintergrasp support with 3 different choices on what to do when WG starts. Configurable from the GUI
  • 1 - Accept Wintergrasp invite then leave raid. you only get invited once and it doesn't kick you out.
  • 2 - Aceept Wintergrasp invite but stay in raid till WG is over. (you get honor and token)
  • 3 - Exit Wintergrasp and wait in Dalaran for battle to end before flying back
  • The Wintergrasp profiles must have the repair and mailbox set in Dalaran
  • Exits WG when inventory is full and mails items to an alt if there's a Mail Recipient in bot settings and visits vendor. no bank support atm
  • Must have hearth set to Dalaran except for mages,they can telport there
  • Added support for timed hotspot fishing with multiple hotspots using <MaximumHotspotTime> tag in profile
I'm going to work out the bugs before adding new features

I disabled all add-ons and still getting same results. Took roughly 17 minutes to get to level 25 fishing. Log file attached. Let me know if you need more info.

I'm going to work on optimizing the code that deals with finding the best place to stand at a pool, the navigator seems to sometimes hang when its genorating a path, or trying to.

Every time he makes a "step" he stops for 2 seconds, probably scans for a pool, then takes a step, then he walks again, stops again for 2 seconds, walks, stops, walks, stops... making it look very much like a bot. Isn't there a way to scan actively for the pool while the bot is moving to the next hotspot? Like in a separate thread or something, and when he detects a pool, stop navigation?
 
worked great but for some reason it got horrible fps and my graphics card isnt a bad one...
as for the wg thing is it possible for it to do a profile switch when it starts where i can make a few hotspots for wg so it does something in the battle gets more honor / more badges? or will it only sit there

Didn't look into code really, but isn't there some dependence on Pull distance in HB?
Because after I've set it to 30 yards, bot fishes only from coast and never stands in water (what is great).

it uses loot radius in Bot Settings for the Pools

Also it fails to train at the dalaran trainer just mounts up and sits there

Works perfectly fine here. You sure you got Fishing trained?
 
Strange, it equips Fishing Pole and other Fishing poles, but not Strong fishing pole.
And even if I equip that manually it doesn't work.
Strange because Plugin checks for "FishingPole" type on item, and I see no reason on Strong fishing pole not having that type...

mmm haven't seen that with this plugin, but i know what you mean i have that with my Eternal Fire profile. I think it's HB's nav system.

That explains why mine is casting like a dumbass 99 yards away from the pool if it can't reach it (that is my lootradius because I herb and mine too).
You might want to chage that to a internal lootradius or put it in the install.txt to set the lootradius to xx value.

BTW, have you considered that the whole waterwalking/leviate/path of frost thing might give some trouble.
You will have to switch to CtM to reach some and override the navigator I think, as the Navigator will choose paths over land rather than over water.
 
The levitate/Waterwalking stuff is needed just for casting fishing. Not needed for moving...

Also, I'm using loot radius 100 and I have no problems with that. Finds pools perfectly.
