using 9003 -> gnome lvl 80 -> crystal song (your original profile) running amazingly great.. no stuck issues at all, kills mobs when attacked.. seems to be perfect for now been running since you released it :]

Are you using a shaman? When I use my shammy + shamwow cc the bobber doesnt get clicked 5 out of 10 times or more. Testing on a level 18 druid + default CC right now in Stormwind and it rarely misses. I have no clue whats going on here.


Edit: seems like the problem is Shamwow indeed. I deleted every single CC in the map and now my Shammy doesn't miss a click at all anymore. Maybe other classes CC's give minor interferences too, but some don't??

Edit 2: btw, not bashing the Shamwow author, it's still the best CC imo.. :D

Anyone else noticing that it's applying the lure twice?

I've only tested with Bright Baubles.

this used to happens if you never wore the weapons while fishing bot was running. latest version I added code to look for weapons in your bag if it has never seen you wear any and put highest itemlevel weapons on protection list.
 
Yup, just downloaded the last version a few minutes ago. It seems to be applying the lure only on the initial start of the bot (when it finds the first pool).

New update with some profile bug fixes and fishing lure should no-longer be casted twice.
 
New version tries to apply glow worm and just jumps in the air after 2 seconds. If I have my weather beaten fishing hat on it uses that fine.
 
Tried to create my own profile to fish in Dragonfin Angelfish pools (wich i plan to release should it work) but its just riding circles around the lake, avoiding all the pools.
Any help on this ?
(first time actually making a totally new profile must say)

Take away the avoidmobs and try again.
You avoid mobs that are standing at the pools fishing themselves :D
How can he ever get to the pool then.

Delete the avoidmobs (and possibly add the faction ID of those mobs).
I already had such profile made, and it fails sometimes (half of the pools it does just fine, half it bugs out when it can't reach em).
Would like to hear your findings.
 
Oh i thought if you added the faction it would attack the mobs, not avoid em.
i'll try again and post my findings here, thanks in advance :)

EDIT: Nope still the same thing, except now it attacks all the mobs that aggro even when riding on the path wich is kinda annoying :P

Auto Angler 9003.2

  • Can change Casting Range for pool fishing from the UI
  • If mounted and in combat and finds a fishing pool, bot will now dismount to kill arggo instead of moving to next hotspot
  • Now takes into consideration if player can do waterwalking when deciding best spot to stand at while fishing a pool
  • Shouldn't cast lures twice.(this time for real I swear!)

My latest version should fix this now, part of the problem was when mounted HB keeps on riding while in combat, so I added a check if player is mounted and in combat and finds a pool he/she will now dismount to kill any argo. Also allot of the pools were out of the default cast range so it was blacklisting them ,15 yards was default cast range in all previous versions, I changed it to 17 but it can be adjusted in the UI.

bah, curse my lazyness. i forgot to read the crystal profile with the pools venders whites, i started botting with 1000ink of the sea and 120 snowfall ink...now i don't have them...bah, live and learn *sad face*
on a better note, great plugin!
 
i was wondering if there was a way that you could add a latency check of some sort? for the time being i have a REALLY bad connection hopefully will change soon but i have notice when it sits at 800-900 A.A. will cast & loot fine but during peak hours where the lag is 1500-3000(omg FML) it will miss clicks and recast.
 
Ok, I put the auto-angler CS file in the plugin folder, and downloaded the dal profile. Started up honorbuddy (the latest beta) and got...

Could not compile CC from C:\Users\joseph\Documents\hb2 3.3.5\CustomClasses\AutoAngler9003.2.cs!
File: AutoAngler9003.2.cs Line: 5 Error: The type or namespace name 'Data' does not exist in the namespace 'System' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
