I am having the same problem.
I assure you, there is no problem on our end.
Please do a diagnostic boot of your PC and try again.
This annoys me, this person isn't the only one having this problem. I have done everything like the port, the wizard etc etc but no luck.
I assure you, i wasn't having problems before the update. So yes it is a problem on your end because you have released an update which has caused problems.
someone told me that earlyer so.hmmm, it works without HBRelog for me. Guess the problem was HBRelog. Can u confirm u were using hbrelog the others ?

i wanted the log to check your version number, since this thread has been up theres be 2 updates.Surely if we aren't able to login because of authentication failed, a log isn't going to show anything except
''[07:56:19.391 N] Logging in...
[07:56:19.774 N] Authentication failed!''?

download the latest version of honorbuddy from here
http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy
and install it into a new folder.
so just verify some of this stuff for me since its already mentioned in this thread.
you checked your host file, (deleted it to let windows make a new one)
flushed your dns cache,
made sure honorbuddy was added to the exception list on your firewall program (if you have one)
opened port 5031 on your home router.
double checked buddyauth to make sure the key your using matches the one listed.
made sure theres no spaces before or after your key.
and that your using your key as your username with no password.
that your launching honorbuddy directly and not though some relogger like HBRelog.
that sound about right?
it used to use port 5031, not sure if they changed it to 80 or not, everyones a sleep right now and couldn't verify that.So the new auth system uses port 5031 and not 80, which tony said it did earlier on in this thread? If thats the case then that will probably be the cause of my problems as the college I'm at are bastards for blocking ports
