tried with both firewall turned on and off

Done! not working. ill restart PC release renew and let you know

I had this problem about an hour ago, I just closed it. Came back to it just now, and it's working fine. Maybe just a hiccup?

I'm having the same problem, the previous version worked fine and still (I've gone back to using it for now).

Edit - I checked the change log and the only thing I can see being the problem is the new auth system. Is there anywhere were there are details on the changes to the auth system?

I luckily had the previous version stored on my external hard drive. As for where you would find it on this forum, I'm not sure.

the new auth requires port 80 to be opened, check that port as well plz

old version are on old auth (port 5031)

i have set my firewall to allow ALL traffice. dosnt work
turned firewall OFF. dosnt work

port 80 would be open naturally for http access.

from what i can tell.

the version that works and the newest version try to connect to 2 different IP's to auth. maybe there is an issue with the new auth server?

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, in that folder you'll find a file called "hosts" (no extension). Open it with a text editor. Check online for what the default contents would be.

from all the tests ive done.

it is most likely and honor buddy problem as opposed to a problem on my end.

deactivate your ***** in IE if your using one, thats what caused the auth fails on my PC

/edit
wtf, pr.oxy seems to be a bad word

I assure you, there is no problem on our end.
Please do a diagnostic boot of your PC and try again.
