Ignore my post I called myself a retard after finishing reading through all the posts
I dont know if this is for the entire Comcast network but at least where I live you cannot just remove the power cord/bat from the modem you have to change the Mac address to the device connecting to the modem. If you dont change the MAC address it will just keep assigning you the same address. If you are using a router it should be easy to do just log into the router (if you dont know how do a google search or read you manual) and enable Mac Address cloning. then remove the power from your modem (power cable and battery) once the modem restart the Comcast DHCP server will see that you have a different MAC address and assign you a new IP address.
Changing IP address is not solution for me and some other ppl I think becouse I bot most of the time from work and it is impossible to change IP of ... public department :/
Well, since its not being fixed fast enough, i went ahead and renewed MAC address in my router configuration and reset my comcast modem box and rest linksys router, i have a new IP and im botting away
