Arks - Skyshard & Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Key & Mote Farm

Testing now. Going to do 6 hours before dailies, 6 hours with the dailies, and 6 hours after completing the dailies. That should be enough time to see if they have an effect.
 
Sheffield622, you need to unlock the Golden Lotus dailies at the golden pagoda before you can see the mobs that this profile farms.
Pandamonium, they do not stop dropping after you do dailies. It's just all a completely randomized chance. You can try to average out your drop chance given with a few hours of farming one day and a few hours of farming another day and do some math and give yourself a rough estimate of what you should expect, but I farmed these on my rogue for a good 10 hours and received 6 keys and zero shards. I just started on my brand new 90 spriest and I've gotten one shard and two keys in about 7 hrs. It's the same way that when there are no hunters or enh shaman in the group, then it seems as though that's the only gear that ever drops.
 
But this is a very nice profile overall. I'm only a 429ilvl shadow priest and I'm getting 141 kp/h and several stacks of cloth along with a few motes of harmony.
 
Pretty sure the profile doesnt work anymore.

495 ilevel rogue farmed for over 12 hours and got

1 shard
No epics
Some greens
cloth.
like 80 mote of harmonies.


Think it's safe to say this has been completely nurfed.
 
It seems like that zone is phased. I have only done the quests to be able to open the Vale of Eternal Blossoms door and I don't see any mob there.

Today got this after 35min of farming 105kills. 3 days before (8h x day) 0 shards 0 epic some motes & greens.
So its just luck, profile still working great!
 
Profile logouts for inactivity after approximately 2 hours, cant figure out why (i just wake up in 4 am, but its sad xd). Also rare mob somtimes makes bot stuck)

Still best profile i yet found :cool:
 
Need a fix i go to sleep and let it run i die from 20 to 30 times becasue it pulls the adds around the elite... and can you make if so it flys to a vender and a mailbox not ground mount run ? for allies
 
Im usin this since 2 days got 2 epics, 4 boe blues, a shitload of greens, 3 skyshard and about 200 mote
very nice profile
 
works well, 8 hours and 2 sky shards
plus 25 greens, 268 windwool cloth, 66 motes of harmony and herbs,
and killed Kang rare 4 times lol

Suggestion: change some hot spots because it missed quite of few herbs :/

questions:
- Which BOT is best for this profile?
- how do I make it not vendor certain types of items? It keeps selling my potion of luck which is a white item :(

Good profile, got 3 sky shards for 9 hours
by the way: Kang the Soul Thief - got id 50349, not 50439 please fix that

Hi again,

Ok using my warlock had no problems at all... but using my melee toons, always died on them several times when they were fighting Kang the Soul Thief... they died in the purple stuff many times... if I didn't have the GTFO addon, I would not even know they were standing in the purple stuff at all (I heard that annoying sound lol)

Also, as i watched a few times, I noticed on each toon I used, there is one hotspot (i need to watch closer or stop it to get the co-ords) where they would run to another and they would pass/run through 3 mobs with out stopping to fight them. some of them would aggro and chase and others did not. But to me, it is a waste to no stop and fight them....

So the big issue is with Kang I guess... other than that, it works great!! :)

Profile works great most of the time but I find it does get stuck at the vendor... If I'm not watching it, can stay there stuck for many, many hours... I turned off vendor but it still keeps going there. How do I stop it? Also, it does not avoid kang the soul thief and died there a few times...

trying to attach the log but its too big i think... 18.96 MB it says and failed...

don't know what to do...
 
GREAT PROFILE. Problems- Alliance profile goes to horde vendor to sell and i due. Thing to add- Drink potion of luck every 20 min

Its really good profile, but for geared toons its better, I think with melee class with less than 500 ilevel maybe can get some problems, Thanks dude :)
 
Does this profile, and any profile of this type, still work since the change Blizzard made to Vale of Eternal Blossoms? There are so many Sha monsters in VoEB now, and since the change I haven't really explored VoEB because it's so ugly. Just wondering if the changes Blizzard made have had any impact on profiles like this since I'm still trying to get Alani and the skyshards.
