Arks - Skyshard & Ancient Guo-Lai Cache Key & Mote Farm

yeah the drop rates have been nerfed along with nodes :(

I'm sitting on 5 shards after months of grinding but i only grind a few hours a day

It was probably either kang the soul thief or the repair run which got you...since you mobs shouldn't be a problem if you're max level and have a cr which handles adds

Yea the aoe from the normal mobs is the problem i have... i noticed i only die though when i run out of food but it wastes like heaps of food cause it sits in the aoe pool while trying to eat and yea wastes heaps... What plugin should i be using for this cause i dont use any plugins or know of one to move out of the aoe stuff?

Someone would have to make one; if you look up the spell id's it would be easy to copy thebrodieman's avoidance system or something. Although sticking it in the cr would be best, so it doesn't stop combat.
I think you need more gear though...you shouldn't need to eat often. What class are you?

i dont eat that often its just they always seem to spawn those aoe thingies... one is called "thunder's call" and cause im standing in it, it can do up to 40k dmg in a matter of seconds... another one is "molten fists" which does close to 40k dmg as well (sometimes double cause it pulls more then one and they both do it). Ill check out thebrodieman's avoidance system and see what that does... My chr is a DK in full PVP gear.

Do you have a link to where this avoidance system is?

Open up the dev tools from the main honorbuddy window. In the profiles tab, look inside the 'common' section and you will see a button that say's "Generate Blackspot." Click once on one side, a second time on the far side.

I noticed it pull Bai-Jin once so I added him to avoid. Avoid doesn't work on Kang because the bot will just pull the mobs standing next to him.

This is still by far my favorite grind spot.

I guess im just dense... ive tried blacklisting by doing as you say. I click generate blackspot then run to other side and click again. It says blackspot generated then i restart bot and it immediately runs back into the blackspot i just thought i generated. Can anyone maybe walk me through how this is done properly...
 
Once you click the button a second time, it doesn't automatically add it to the profile. It prints the blackspot to the console and you have to manually add it. Also, the blackspot doesn't seem to prevent you from walking through the area; it prevents you from attempting to pull any mobs inside the blackspot.
 
I got my 10 shards today and killed the dragon in the vale for my mount :)
 
I dont know if i'm doing something wrong? Got 4 keys 1 shard farmed about 10.5 hours.

Killing shao-tien fist, Shao-tien antiquator, stuff like those. Are these the right ones?

My bot is saying 84 kills pr. hour?

Its gonna take ages to get that rep with golden lotus :P ?

Edit: Is the mount account wide? Or only that toon?

you probly need to gear up some if you want to get more Kph. Actually getting Golden Lotus to exalt isn't the problem, it's August Celestials that you need to learn the mount.

and yes it's account wide

But is it the right mobs its killing?
 
Did they nerf the key drop rates, or do they stop dropping after you do the dailies? I got 7 fairly quickly this morning (within about 3 hours), then I did the dailies and I haven't seen one in at least 6 hours.

Hmm, you got them recently? I'm wondering if it has something to do with if you've done the dailies yet, or if you've accepted them and not turned them in. I'm going to do a little testing today. I understand it's RNG, but the chance isn't so low that you shouldn't get one from about 1,000 kills.

I thought the exact same thing yesterday, and they dropped more before i did the daylies :)
