i sold 600 brimstone for 280k (EU) 1 hour ago , i bought em for 15k months ago :D , didnt want to risk keeping em since i started boting

Yup, over the past couple weeks bought brimstone for around 600mil total and sold all of them on the RMAH tonight for over 1.3k

unfortunately, $212 went to my bnet balance by mistake :[

Hopefully it will be easy to buy/sell again, just hope i dont get banned. Still in the top 100 elite kills on diabloprogress

bwahhaha feel so godly to have just sold 400 brimestones for 400k each when i only paid 80k for them ages ago.

brought up 1k and am keeping 600 just to see where this goes.

its just as bad as stocks!

Damn, tonights my D3 lucky night.

Just found a $150 barb skull cap ring!

Watch, the price of brimstone will triple and all wake up and be banned tommorow....

but there are only few legendary weapons lvl60+
i am not sure if or which weapons blizzard will improve.
also i don't have the recipes and they sell for like 100 mil... -.-
Recipes - Game Guide - Diablo III

in the video they only mentioned legendary stuff from drops

i think there is too much hype about brimstones...

@alfajr: eu or us? ;)

US, yup I agree there is alot of hype thats why I sold. That and the chance of getting banned for botting.

ok, thx.

i don't have a clue which the us market is much better for profit/selling?
is there a higher chance of getting banned on us? are there any special laws making it more risky?

on EU you cannot sell brimstones vs realmoney

cool.

i bought 500 pieces for 200k/piece a week ago. thought they would never sell, even for the initial price of 200k (offered them everyday since i purchased, did nothing..). so i decided to put them in for 190k yesterday because i was afraid of losing value when people realize that the price is just a hype, not a real value.

so i sold them all and made a nice minus. good to know they are back at 285k atm just because blizzard released some pictures of new legendaries. just feels solid to make one unlucky decision after the other. oh well.. :/

Tyey will be worth about 1milion after 1.0.4 start.

prob be worth way more, if they narrow down the randomization of stats that crafting can spawn on legendaries. everybody will want/crafting them, as it ll be an upgrade no matter what. i can see 1 fiery going for millions. since it only takes 1-2 to craft them

I'm happily selling junk iLvl 61 legendaries for over 450k, thanks to everyone buying brimstones :) Yeah, I could probably make more if I held out, but whatever. Might not, too.

Saw this post on d3 forums so im postin it here

Introduction (skip to third paragraph if you wish):

I am making this post because, in my opinion, this game does very little to revolve around in-game skill, and much more to revolve around how well you can make gold and invest in end-game gear. Call it exploitation/cheating or whatever you want, but I believe that everyone should be, at the very least, aware of how to make gold and eventually enjoy the latter end of inferno without becoming bored/frustrated.
This is the period of time where auction house players make tons for little to no actual game time. Before 1.0.3 came out I saw a post speculating that there will be an IAS nerf. I had not played DH at the time so I didn't know that IAS was valuable. However, I was smart enough to understand that not all players at the time read up on Diablo 3 news. So I decided to stock up on IAS items, and sell them before this news spread and the patch notes went public. As a result I ended up tripling my gold in a matter of days. From there, and post 1.0.3 I continued to "play the AH game" buying low, selling high on items that not everyone might realize the value of (ie. a wand with low-ish dps but AP on crit or an amulet with a CC/CD/MF combo etc). I also made close to 40m a day before the 6 prop glove market became saturated.

------

I am posting because I want everyone to be aware that there is currently a market for fiery brimstones right now and you shouldn't miss out on the opportunity to invest. This means not just buying brimstones themselves, but also looking for iLVL60+ legendaries on the AH that people are listing for below the market price of brimstones. Simply salvaging these items and hoarding up brimstones will, in my experience and opinion, result in a massive profit when 1.0.4 releases and there will be a demand for crafting new legendaries with buffed stats. Because Blizzard has only buffed legendaries, but has not changed drop rates whatsoever, you will not really have to worry about there being an oversupply of brimstones until well into 1.0.4 when people will craft many of them at a time and salvage the ones without preferable stats. But you must realize that ones rolled without preferable stats can be reused to re-craft:

Craft a legendary -> it sucks -> salvage it and get a brimstone back. The dusts, tomes, and tears are actually consumed in the process but the brimstones may not be (depending on what the plan requires)

This is an extremely safe investment for the time being which is why I am recommending it to all of you out there. In fact, I've bought out about 1500 brimstones over the course of the first few weeks of 1.0.3 for below 90k when I realized that there will, undoubtedly, be a legendary buff in the future and their value has already increased by 400%. Now is the time to invest and save up for 1.0.4 and this is one of the many ways to do so.

sorry for bringing this up but i just wanted to lol @ those guys that said they'd be worth millions after the patch.

they are down to 120k :D
