They were up to 300k in EU today, so it went up more then 300%. Im on US but here they were at 350k+ when I dumped them all so got a pretty nice profit. Gonna buy again when they drop some more in price.

Nice, but imo buying and selling is a bad idea with the 15%. I'm going to put mine directly on the RMAH after the patch.

Also confirmed by blizzard. There will be no increase in Legendary drop rates. Magic and rares will get a major buff.

Ah. So this is why I sold my Brimstones for so much today. Good to have an explanation xP

im about 99% positive that they said they wouldn't buff the current ones, but just buff future drops

It's on their website no current legendarys will be buffed. Only legendarys dropped or crafted after 1.04 will be buffed.

That leaves the question of whether current existing legendary recipes in the learnt/scroll form will be buffed or will be rendered obsolete.

Major buff in what?

Sorry, this is what I was talking about. I was referring to drop rate.

"We aren't making any changes to the chance that an item will drop. When we say we're increasing the likelihood that non-Elite monsters will drop magical items "by a factor of four," it means that those monsters should drop 4 times (or "4x") the amount of magical items as they do now. It's important to note, however, that this will only affect Magic items and Rare items.

So, for example, if doing a full clear of an area currently yields 500 items from non-Elites, it will still yield 500 items after 1.0.4. Whereas you may have only gotten 20 Magic (blue) items and 4 Rare (yellow) item from those non-Elites before, you’ll now get approximately 80 Magic items and 16 Rares."

And the price just dipped, purchased another 500. Close to 2000 now.

Just bought an inventorys worth of iridescent tears as they're just barely above vendor price ATM. Hopefully they rise too :)

stacking and buying before patches is always dangerous stuff... especially in WoW many people did it.

only few of them made much profit, the most at least wasted time or money :/
it is very difficult to choose the right second for selling the stacks. Prices will only be a bit higher for 2 or 4 days, you know the patch isn't that big....

For me the rule "sell fast, clean stash fast" worked best.

I'm thinking about salvaging my legendaries now and selling the stone.
Have stashes full of them

No reason not to hold out, nothing?s going to change. They went from being nearly useless to super godly endgame crafting material.

What price where they at their lowest on the US, 100k?

Considering blizzard update, I think they are at least 4x more valuable then when they were worthless.

Remember 1 fierybrimson represents like 8-10 hours of playtime and EVERYONE is going to want a legendary weapon.

Scratch the salvage idea. Each piece of 61 legendaries are going for roughly 500k a piece buyout

Well I changed my mined.

Started selling off. After looking at the blizzard forum tonight, I think brimstone is faily well hyped up. I still think they are worth holding onto, but since I bot on these accounts its not really worth the risk for me nor the downtime. Sold half and the other half is still on the RMAH and will probably be sold tonight.

Expected paypal profit after fees $1,200+
Gold invested ~600mil igg

Looks like I could have made just as much selling the gold to a private buyer:[ that 15% really eats into your final profit.

At least I feel much better about champ botting 24/7 now

brimstone? eu or us? hard to believe....

on eu, brimstone are about 250k-300k... ofc not worth to sell them on rmah, i dont think there is even a buyer
