Anyone been banned using this bot at all?

Ok, I'll answer for most of us: If you used only hearthbuddy, you didn't get the ban (at least until now).
I am using buddy products for WoW, Diablo3 and HS and never got a ban.

Who used extensively hearthcrawler got the ban.

And that is the exact reason why I choose HB over HC when I bought the bot: the ability of the developers to be undetectable.

I can be proved wrong in the next days, but I have faith in the HB team (botting right now).

Now its time to improve a little bit the product to become the dominant bot (and the undetectable one) :D

Anyways, most Hearthcrawler users I know were banned. I think Blizzard targeted Hearthcrawler because its AI was very advanced and people were reaching legend rank using it.

As for the ban itself, its an IP ban, so banned users won't even be able to play on alt accounts now. However, it is only a temporary ban for 3 months.

Sure Sure... I was banned with HC (24h/7), friend is banned with HB(17-20h per day), so u will say HB is still safer? Not rly..

I think blizz targeted hard HC and HB for banweave... not more ;) No Change to run away from this banwaeve, only with hard luck? (i had this luck on first wow glider banweave - still no ban x D) (and i think a wow/d3 banweave will come too, not only Hearstone banweave^^)

hopefully there wont be a second wave targetting hearthbuddy , lol. I feel really fortunate for choosing hearthbuddy over other bots out there.

Look at it this way hs has only been out for so long and the buddy team is still new to the detection of it... hb has had some banwaves over the years also but now they are smarter with detection. And yea its again down to how you was playing your account 24/7 is plain dumb botting on any game. If buddys bot was detected we would see this explode here but a few out of how many users... na

The confuse shit; Not all 24h HS botter banned ... But Yea, at the moment, many many more HS botters banned than hb botters ; )

And guys; What you think about this; Blizzard Entertainment: World of Warcraft Anti-cheating Agreement - likly that was a warden banweave by searching on our computer ; ) f u, illegale eula ! - now i can say, wait more, and then will come more bans : (((((((

If they can detect this bot I am sure they can detect all bossland bots....I don't see any banwave coming. Why not destroy bossland ages ago.. :)
 
I don't think Hearthbuddy is detectable, I botted 24/7 on Demonbuddy on every patch and never got banned.
 
Some other information is that they gathered people for banning before weekend. I posted on this board a thread that got deleted by mods that there was a banwave (there was no "ban" word in topic but it got deleted anyway) in russia probably. There is this thread on reddit Another Bot Banwave! Maybe NA Server Is Next? : hearthstone
It seems that someone pushed enter to fast on russian site and posted information before actual action was taken.

I think that this banwave was a mixture of few things like raports from people, data processing, etc. I think that most of us using hearthbuddy got spared because there is a few of us. Look at this forum it's almost dead compared to other bots forums. And I am talking about normal day not like today. Because there is fewer of us and most of us do not bot ranked games since hearthbuddy is to weak to do that we didn't get into the data pool they were looking at? Also I still believe this bot is the safest one in terms of detection and that's why I didn't bought any other bots and wanted so much for this one to be developed better.

It's all just mine theory. I might be wrong.

I am 99% confident to say for them that Hearthbuddy it self is not Detectable. But you can wait for there response.
What i can say is that blizzard if they put a team together or even made a program to monitor for things like Concide after win, Card hovering or Target arrows.
they they can easily Determine if the Player is human or not.

Most of you got banned because you BOTTED 24/7
Some of you got Banned for Concide after win
The rest of you got banned for Being reported by players because of Tell signs of a bot like no Card hovering or Target arrows. Yes you can say well thats how it is on the Ipad. well they can tell your not on an ipad.

BTW not Banned Used Hearthbuddy and Crawler.
 
Have you been using Ultimate AI(silverfish) on both? That could be the link
 
I used both on Crawler mostly Smartcc tho to try and get legend that i never got =/ and never dragonCC as to my time ran out

They already answered this question in an interview:

We’ve seen the rise and fall of many bots over time, and it seems like Blizzard turns to the courts when they cannot counter a well-coded hack or bot. Do you think that they’re doing this only because they cannot crush your company’s program like they’ve done with so many other professional teams?

Hawker: No, that’s not the case. They have not tried to detect us. Our Tripwire has been idle apart from the week it was installed and then found Blizzard had already stumbled upon us while looking for a LUA hack. My opinion is that Blizzard prefers the legal approach, as it allows them to keep their subscribers yet it also allows them to erase the things that they don’t approve of.

Blizzard can absolutely pull the plug on any and all buddy products whenever they want, yet they haven't. If I had to guess, I'd say there's an 'agreement' between Bossland and Blizzard where Bossland kicks back blizzard in some way and Blizzard gives them a pass when they drop the banhammer. Since Blizzard's lawsuit against Bossland apparently failed, Blizzard probably feels like giving these guys a pass as long as they don't interfere too much (i.e. having shitty AI that can't play Hearthstone as well as other bots or laying off of other Blizzard games/regions--but these are just guesses) is the only way left to deal with them.

Well Another competitor down I went to go check there site to read there ban post and. Crawler just shut down apparently. Closure and all there sites while i was reading.

crawler has (or had lol) a fairly popular / advanced wow bot as well, which was not involved in any banwave. looks like they got a legal letter threatening enough to close up shop, kind of like Pirox did back in the day

hmm, interesting. Kinda makes me think my conspiracy theory about Blizz willing to look the other way as long as Bossland develops sub-par products might not be totally out to lunch.

Maybe Crawler was in located in the US and legal threats from Blizzard actually meant something. Or they're total pussies whereas Bossland was like yolo come at me brolo, I'll see you in court! when they got a letter from Blizz and barked them back down.
 
nope didnt got banned while hearthcrawler had one ban and they left the botting scene and scammed evryone
