Any Point to buying SoR accounts anymore?

I dont see how so many people are getting knicked, I bought 5 at once and put them all on separate b.nets, I even had problems with the auto leveling to 80 so I petitioned and had a GM fix two of the accounts for me at once (on two diff bnets). Maybe I'm just lucky

Got 3 SOR accounts locked for some reason i say the names didnt match up, sent in a photo of my ID which has thebnet account in my name and they unlocked the SOR account even though the names would have being different? weird!

buy it on ebay, several forums etc.

makes you able to get a lvl 80 char on a specific server without levelling

Hi, i am thinking about buying a SOR acount, merge it into my real Bnet account, send a SOR than transfer the lvl 80 toon into my main acount and never touch the SOR again.

What do you guys think about that? Chnace on having problem with my main acount?

I did this with a SOR account I bought like 2 months ago, no issues so far! However, im not sure if I have been just lucky or that it actually is "safe"..

If Blizz where to ban you they would probably ban the SOR account and lock the char you transferd to your main account, but again, I dont know for sure


EDIT:
Is there any way of knowing the details of a SOR account before actually merging it? That way you could create the Bnet with the same details as the SOR account! If you are not planning to transfer the characters anyway its a cheap option to get a free 80!
