Basically; it seems to me that there is an issue with facing somewhere. (Then again, it very well may just be a bug with Singular's kitty stuff)

Keep in mind though, that this happens with EVERY CC I use. And since I have almost 1 of every 85, that's a lot!
 
there are a lot of CC that doesnt to facing the mob. singular and fps are the only one i know that works with pvp/archi/gather etc. all other ccs mostly need to play by hand because the toon doesnt turn around to the mob. didnt test ALL CCs maybe there are some more working. Thats why it would be nice to see a "working with" from the CCs devs, so you know directly if the CCs is just to use with Lazyraider or its working in PVP.

otherwise do a Subdirectory for all the CCs in the CC Folder.

Zacharybinx34 is NOT the only person facing this problem! Sticking your head in the sand and repeatedly saying it's just him, his install, his plugins, the cc or the phase of the moon is only wasting his and your time. I haven't posted anything about it because I always figured it was a CC issue since I've only done serious archeology with my hunter so far (as you can see from my join date, I haven't been doing this very long). I have seen MANY times where my toon will agro a mob, only to run right by it and ignore it while it hits his pet. Since I've been leveling Archoeology on a mid level 70's toon, this hasn't been a serious issue, the pet just takes care of it.

Before you think it's just the pet killing it too fast, that's not the case either. I've seen it where the pet would have to work it down for 30 seconds or more while my toon just sits there oblivious to what's going on, even actually surveying while the pet fought and killed the mob. I am using an FPSware hunter CC right now but i just figured that maybe it was having an issue. Seeing this thread (and I have seen others that were simliar) just convinced me it's not the CC.

BTW - I'm using AB on a brand new, clean install of HB... although I do have other plugins installed and as I said, I'm using FPSware hunter, rather than Singular.

I can't post a log right now cause I'm at work... but if you want, I can tomorrow... I've got a class tonight so I won't be home long after work today.

Hope this gets figured out soon... not as much for my hunter, this pet protects him well... but more for other players - including some of mine that I plan on using AB for in the future.
 
Altoids just for your issue that's a.. CC issue :P At least from the way you are describing it, the CC is not getting the mob couse the mob is not targetting you but the pet, that's a common error in most CC, just search for enemy that are targetting you ignoring everyone else, to avoid ninja pulling mobs from other people.
I do not know if that's truly the problem but from you description most definitely seems so.. can you repeat it with a non hunter pg?
 
Ok, I will try that tomorrow when I can. I won't have time to do it today... As I said, for me, it wasn't a major issue, but when I saw Zacharybinx34 having to do a jig trying to get ppl to believe him on what's going on, it just struck a nerve, especially since I'd seen it myself with my own toon. If mine is something different, then I can understand that too.

I'll try it with a different toon as soon as I can and report back with the results.
 
Hey guys. Like I said, if it is a CC issue, that sure is strange that I have seen it happen with EVERY cc I have tried (probably around 10-16 cc's). I have almost 1 level 85 of every class.
 
As I said, I was talking only about Altois problem, not yours :) about yours, I do not know

Here is a 100% fact.
The problem happens with at least 9-12 CC's.

If its a problem with every single CC I could really care less, because it still needs to be fixed. It is rampant throughout singular v2.

The problem NEEDS to go away.

if its happening with EVERY class. then theres something that we cannot see. would it be possible to post a video of the problem so we can see if it really is just a facing issue, or what behavior it REALLY is exhibiting, because obviously using words and logs to describe the issue just inst working.
 
@Zacharybinx34; I've tried to reproduce the issue with Singular v2, but so far, it hasn't had the issue at all. I'll keep letting it run, but if I can't reproduce it, I can't even begin to fix it. :\

I am using Windows 7 X64 bit.
Try using Archeology buddy, that's the best and fastest way to reproduce it.

The character does one of two things.

1. it will not even select the mob to kill that is attacking it (this randomly happens)
2. it will target it, but face the wrong direction.


Edit: something just came to mind. If quest behaviors files from Kick's profiles are installed, could that somehow be messing things up? I don't see how it could.

I can honestly say that i have this issue too randomely with every toon (different cc's)
No loggs atm to specefy it. But i will if i see it happen again.

ps: Windows 7 64 bit too
 
sometimes wow can mess up your facing, and its a thing where the server thinks the mob is in front of you, when really on your client (and honorbuddy) shows that your in the right position to hit the mob, thats been a known server problem for a while and one of those things that blizzard just has never been able to pin point and fix. if you see it happening, Tap the W or S key and just that little bit of movement will cause the server and client to reposition the mob just enough to recheck everything. this bug mostly happens on melee CC's that dont kit, Thats why you never see it on Amplify, since everytime the mob gets in attacking range, it repositions it self forcing both Hb and WoW to recalculate the facing.

one solution you might wanna look at is if there is RED ERROR text, like "Target not in line of Sight" or "Cant Cast that yet" we can write a hook, to look for that event and do the equivalent of pressing W or S, so it would fix itself.
