Amplify - a Mage CC Powered by Blast Processing!

I'm frost and it's using ice lance a little too much for my liking.
For example. After a frost nova, ice lance will break the nova.
Instead, it could do a frost bolt followed by an ice lance. That'll be alot more damage.
Same goes for freeze and deep freeze. After a deep freeze, it'll cast 1 ice lance before deep freeze ends. Normally when I play manually, I can do 1 frostbolt and 2 ice lance. I know that might not be possible for a bot, but still after any free effect I think it should be Frost bolt + ice lance instead of just ice lance. Frostbolts also have the extra crit chance on frozen mobs, and frost bolt does do alot more dmg than ice lance.

And.. No disregard, but.. I remember back in the beginning of wotlk when you started developing your first mage CC. I was truly amazed by its lightning fast reflexes and good dps output. There wasn't really any delay from one spellcast to another and it reacted really fast to new situations. I remember one time I saw it accidentally frost nova'd a group of 6 horses that was patrolling by. It quickly blinked away and started using blizzard. It actually managed to aoe them all down. I know it still has blizzard and blink etc, but it doesn't have the lightning fast reflexes, and it quite a long delay (imo) from one spell cast to another. Has HB gotten slow on this part, or has this CC become so big by supporting so many features and speccs, that it's just become slow?

So my bottom line here is, I think you're doing a really great job on this CC. But you've frequently added stuff to it for a very long time. Maybe it's alot of code for a CC, and that could cause it to become slow?

I've used you CC back in WOTLK(as above user) and gave it a spin now, it's just unusuable for me, the non fast response isn't so bad, the constant errors is though, posing log.

I've installed HB the newest(and vers. before) deleted mesh folders, run different profiles/modes.

the other one i noticed was countspell tossing some errors as well (why? i dont know) try turning count spell off. and see if it improves.
Not the one in the arcane tab, youll want to go to the last tab and look in the list, and change Use_CounterSpell to false. and restart the bot
 
when it stops or sits, on your unit frame, where it says your level, are there two swords? if so then your in combat still, this could happen for many reasons, mostly that there are mobs fighting around you, and WoW Tells honorbuddy "Yes im in Combat" and honorbuddy tries to fight with nothing. if that's the case, then there's nothing i can do, because its a WoW issue. from what i see that may be the case since im not experiencing any of the problems your describing, the code itself should never have those issues ether. even after the code changes i made in 1.6.5 to help reduce cpu useage, unless your machine is really old or slow, or your doing something else on it. theres not much else i can say.

It's mostly occuring when i fight 2 things at the time

theres mention in the patch notes for a new version, where the wait time between killing multiple mobs is removed, this happends because after killing a mob, honorbuddy waits for wow to spawn the body and loot, so kill wait for wow to spawn lootable things, then loot things. so wait for the new version of hb and see if that helps.
 
1.6.4a worked great (apart from no flame orb, mirror images, AOE)

1.6.5 I now get

please post a complete log, if you havent make sure your running the latest version of honorbuddy. and make sure you clean out the gold amplify folder before moving the files from the new version into the folder.
 
Sometimes during IB, the bot will stand around and not attack anything, I think its debating on casting blizzard or frostbolt. I like this over Singular because of the use of blizzard, but when it stands around, people complain. Complaints lead to reports, etc.
 
Could anyone to link tested Frost and Fire specs for leveling 80-85? I feeling a bit frustrated after 1-year break. Thanks in advance!
 
i need information to fix the issue, if you people don't wanna play ball and give proper logs, and more then a sentence on whats going on, then why the heck am i wasting time looking for issues that for all i know dont exist.

Tell me what the issue is
tell me what your doing when the issue occurred.
INCLUDE
what mode you where running in, PVP, Questing ect.

im sick of playing guessing games with you kids that just post Noting but null refrences from the debug log, and no other information.
 
rolled changed from zerfall back into amplify, potions giving off null errors and raf targeting removed, people should see a difference in instances now.
