Amplify - a Mage CC Powered by Blast Processing!

Any chance of getting Remove Curse put in the nest release. Loving Amplify at present. Levelling a full heirlooms frost mage with it.

I have an addon that lets me see when I can cast the next spell on my mage so that way I can actually start casting the next spell when the current is already going off. I think the DPS increase using this addon is the only thing different between running my bot and running the mage manually. I just spam arcane blast 4 times until it arcane missiles proc, then go back to arcane blast. I have to play with it some more but I am happy with the DPS of both (Amplify and Zerfall).

Another thing I wanted to mention is: is there a way to temporarity stop the bot from casting and move the character (I am thinking the last boss on VP). I tried to stop the bots and right-click to the triangle but its too slow even on normal (havent been able to finish it ).

Here is the rotation from Maxdps.com:

Rankings are based on the following:
1) Arcane Blast until your mana is less than 95% BUT ensure you have cast it 3 times
2) Arcane Missiles

Mage Armor is the self buff used
Focus Magic is cast on another high crit DPS
Also use these as often as possible!
1) Mirror Image
2) Arcane Power
3) Mana Gem
 
Codename, Does Amplify support brain freeze? (Frostfire bolt instant procs)

If not could it be possible to have that as an option if you have talented brain freeze (much better dps and solo ability than arcane missles for frost spec)

it should support all procs.

Currently using your CC to level the mage of my wife.
I noticed (Frost) that often when the char dismounts, he doesn't wait to see if you have the water elemental with you but right away summons a new one.
Is there any form of delay build in, or is that currently not present (this in the light that if the water elemental dies, you can summon a new one right away, otherwise it might be on cooldown).

Further than that it runs fine.
A few more issues that have nothing to do with the CC (the pet aggro issue is present again for example).

theres nothing i can do about the pet agro, but if i get a chance ill move the pet summon code from zerfall over so it will wait to for it to pop up before trying to summon
 
I know, since it's HB related there's not much you can do about it (as I wrote that is has nothing to do with your CC).
The bug is already posted accordingly.
I'm just surprised how they managed to get that bug re-introduced since it has been fixed for quite a few versions.

The delay timer would be a improvement for situations as I mentioned.
I don't have enough mage knowledge to see if it's doing anything else wrong.
Levels are passing by, so I guess it's doing fine on it's own :)
 
With arcane CC after killing a mob it sometimes just stops the WHOLE bot. Redering it completely unusuable for me. Also, pulling seems to be broken if the enemy is standing behind a rock / edge your char will atempt to frostbolt/arcane blast it until the end of time.

Also, after killing a mob early it will sometimes still complete its rotation and cast frost nova on nothing + blink away.

Any word Codename on getting forstfire bolt to proc? It isn't firing at all at present,
 
May i ask why it only casts arcane barrage when it has 3 stacks of arcane blast? cant you make it so it will use it more often if leveling :)?

As stated earlier, Remove Curse would be great! And also, I don't know if this is true for everyone, but whenever mine casts mirrior image, it also casts cold snap lol!
 
Hey codename,

I just respecced to fire to test it out, and your cc doesnt seem to know how to handle it at all. It simply spams scorch on my level 60 mage. And nothing else. Its really sad. Since fire would be a good spec to bot seeing as you can accomplish alot just by spamming fireballs and pyroblast procs.

It does use it. It's just last or near last in the priority table. It basically only uses it when it's got nothing else to do. Perhaps moving it up in priority would be beneficial considering it is instant cast?

Edit: Actually looking at the code there's nothing else I moved frostfire ahead of fireball on my copy because it does better dps. Maybe blizzard should be petitioned to increase the length of the brain freeze buff to help botters! Oh wait...

Props to the maker of this by the way... I've watched the bot live sometimes where most would fail. Freezing, polymorphing, blinking away to use evocation... beautiful.

A thought for you. When health is very low would it be possible to cast invis and get out of dodge? I sometimes help my bot do it when I notice he's managed to pull too many.
