Amplify - a Mage CC Powered by Blast Processing!

Well, I don't see the downloadlink for 1.5.7 either.

Took me a few seconds to find it too. The releases are no longer in strict numerical order. Poor guy must really be under the weather. :)

Having some sort of glitch/bug not sure what it is, most of the time it just runs past mobs and waits until they aggro on the char before stopping several yards away and attacking. Other times it stops and pulls the way it's supposed to. Kinda just doing it's own thing not really sure what's going on, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it don't....

Here's a full log hoping it will explain it better than I can, cause I can't read the log, other than where all the errors are it says Amplify. So posting it here.

Don't know what it is or what it does or don't do, but it said Amplify at the top of it all so figured would let you know.

testing this cc atm, seems to work good, but slow hitting in BG, and we don't really have a lot of choice for mage CC :(
hope some dev can work on a good mage CC soon (spec in BG)

EDIT : ok after some BG, CC need to be improve in speed chaining skills
atm the delay between each spell is too long very too long, it not chain casting spell, and it's = Death in BG as i'm using HB only in BG

Yes, there is. When deep freeze hits there is time to cast either 3 ice lances or 1 quick frost bolt and 2 icelances, but the bot doesn't do that. It pauses for half a second and loses valuable time. When it blinks, it pauses.

There's a lot of opportunity for streamlining. Keep up the good work; I'm sure we're all looking forward to your next release.
 
how to make bot cast blizzard and flamestrike ? i never seen it cast theese spell.
what pull spell is nice to use frostbolt or frostfire bolt ?

does the bot cast mana shield and mage ward?

Hey CodenameG, awseome CC, question, in the new BG beta could you add this if you think it would help, if target is x yards away from y skills max radius change target? That way when someones running so far away the mage dosent run straight through battle in BGS to reach a target that is quite the ways out of his normal attack range.... :P its a nice idea i think lmk what ya kno

i already have code to do this, i call it Terminator Syndrome, you know how all the terminators are programmed to kill john connor? so if they are out to kill someone else as soon as someone goes "hey im john connor!" the terminator immediately overrides anything its doing and goes to kill him following him to the end of the earth and giving his friends time to escape or setup a trap to kill the terminator. so yea, i have the logic done, i just have to implement it.

I'm not sure if this is CC or HB, but I'm running a low level mage (16 atm), and if a mob aggroes onto my pet (water elemental as I'm frost spec), I wont attack it till it finishes my elemental and targets me. I've attached a log, I know it happenned a bunch of the Savanah Lions. Looking through the log theres a whole bunch of errors around combat like;

Not sure if thats part of it. Combat where either I'm targetted, or I get within range and target something first works fine, just when I'm fighting something and something else targets my pet does it break (I think).

[EDIT] Ok, so I just watched it happen, and yeah, its that error. Its not selecting the new target. It stands there with nothign selected and HB debug log gets spammed with that error. Then I manually click on the target and it all starts working fine.

Wrong, I'm also getting a 1-2 second delay while casting spells.... BG/IB/GrindBOT/AB it is just all around slow and I'm not sure why. No other CC has a delay like this. I can easily pull 20k+ dps in dungeons on my mage, yet this cc only pulls about 3-4k... if that gives you any idea how slow it's spellcasting is


Also, this is the Arcane Rotation if you wanna set this into motion:

Arcane Blast until stack is at 4
Cast Arcane Power
Cast Mirror Image
Arcane Blast until mana is at 40%
Cast Evocation
Arcane Blast until mana is at 80%
Use Mana Gem

Do this while Evocation is on cooldown to avoid running out of mana
Arcane Blast x2 or x3 depending on gear
Arcane Missiles if proc is available, Else just cast Arcane Barrage

You do this until Evocation is available again and then you rinse and repeat.

going to test this afther my priest is done i want a mage for pvp my priest for pve:)
 
i had to switch back to default. This one would not attack anything for me in grind mode.
 
having an issue with newest hb and pvp. always get an error with this as the cause. log file attached, has same problem with last hb
