Am I the only one who just got banned right now?

Wow you guys are lucky 6 month ban only now and not perm. Blizzard are scared their numbers are going to drop so they only ban for 6 months. As for me nope no ban 6 years strong.

I actually had an account that was perma banned back in WOTLK. I was using a different botting program to farm the fuck out of the ore veins in icecrown. Netted me well over a million gold just vendoring the saronite to a vendor. 25-35g a stack.

Came back after a few years and the account is no longer banned.

Wow really, Im shocked what is blizzard doing...... Maybe opening it all back up so they get more users and more cash for gold (wow tokens)
 
that makes me want to try my old account again...

Edit : doesnt even show anymore as perma banned on the old bnet account, completely removed.

Not banned yet.
I've been leveling a few hours a day with Kicks, and end game raiding with the guild. I often pause it to do some of the questing manually though.
But I haven't been able to attach HB at all today.

Anyone else unable to attach HB without the game crashing?
I've tried twice now. It was attaching just fine yesterday.

Just a heads-up of what I think of the ban.

Looking at my own botting pattern, im gonnalist possiblities that leads to my ban.

What the ban is not: Blanket Ban Wave, detection of bot. (Otherwise, more numbers right and everyone here will get it.)

What it most likely be:

I was on quest bot. I have a 100 toon already but decided not to pay for lvl 60 boost or character transfer.

So I decided to start up a human toon (racials, lel) on Tich.

Was botting way before this using gatherer, BGBuddy & Paid CR but survived 1 warden.

1. High Pop server, tends to have more eyes. I am sure that I was reported and flagged. Before the disconnect, my toon was ganked 12times. gg
Thus someone who said that risks are higher on hi pop server, I think this is true for me. Cause all the other botting activity on my lvl100 toon on a
much lower pop server was a-okay all the while. My new toon is only 1 week-old at lvl 85 now in Tich.

2. CR's & BG's are detectable by human players, especially PVP. So botters will get reported and flagged.

3. Login/playtime can be recorded by Blizz. 24hrs with 10-30minute breaks in between is still gonna give this away.

Thus, I am in the opinion that Blizz could be using a rating system of checks. Like playtime, reports by players with evidence rating (if they submit video evidence, then it is easier for them to make judgement, OR the person who ran into my unfortunate bum, is a GM himself.) If all the checks are there, then they can flag the player as botter.

Just my 2 cents.

Sure wish I didn't have to bot to stay interested in WoW. Maybe one day the blizzard team will get the clue that the content isn't interesting enough for me to sit at my computer for 8 hours and grind crap out.
 
ok guys i know it sad to be banned it happen to me. However i actually thanking blizz for doing this to me i was like soooooo crazy addicted to this damm game... playing for hours end. Now no joking im actually painting again, playing rocksmith (practicing my guitar skills) and im actually going outside and enjoy the sun. However, dammm i miss my raids lol.

Ya it sounds like a player report here, high pop PvP servers will get you banned easy when it comes to leveling, if someone can sit there and kill you over and over again they will know ur a bot and report you, that's why I don't play on really high pop PvP servers anymore rofl, but when I did if I started getting ganked I logged my too off and went to another one, then logged back on after 30 mins or an hour and continued along with my business.

Ur account will be reactivated this month on the 23rd rofl you didn't get a 6 month suspension and its not a perma ban either, and why does it say action is 6 month suspension but the day reactivated is on the 23rd of this month, what in the fuck.

I too was banned during this wave. Figured I'd be unbanned today but account is still banned. Anyone have their accounts reactivated?
