Altec's Rogue Routine

Question, when im dpsing a mob. It "sticks" to the target, and i cant properly move. So usually i die of crap on the ground, since i cant move. Is that related to the CC i use?
 
Well yes, which CC are you using? movement or no movement?
 
Actually tried both, but both are sticking. I'll try to reinstall it.

Uploaded 0.6.1 - movement has movement. no-movement has no movement now.

Movement sticks to the target within melee range while no-movement requires user to pilot the character.

A little update on what I am working on:

Upcoming changes:
Added the following to a brand new GUI:
  • Added Racials (Why no alliance on use damage booster?)
  • Added Assassination cooldowns
  • Added Kick - this way you can turn off if you are on a boss with an interupt rotation
  • Added an option to have the bot move for you, or you move the player yourself
  • Added an option for the user to decide to use cooldowns on all NPC's or just bosses
  • Added use trinkets if they are on use
  • Added user customization of AoE - you decide how many NPC's are around before you use AoE
All of which can be turned on and off while the bot is running. Have not got around to adding in all the racials just yet, but I am working on it. Still working on making sure all the rogue skills are implemented in one way or another before moving onto more complex tasks.
 
Ok, finished everything for Assassination spec, it is updated to version 1.0. Added a GUI with the following:

Racials:
  • Arcane Torrent - can be used as an interupt or as energy regen mechanic
  • Berserking - damage boost
  • Blood Fury - damage boost
  • Rocket Barrage - direct damage from any range up to (30?)meters away
Why no alliance racials?

Cooldowns:
  • Expose Armor - if no one else can apply this buff
  • Kick - interupts the spell if able, turn off if you are part of a interupt rotation
  • Shadow Blades - damage boost
  • Shadow Step - mobility if movement is turned on
  • Vanish - damage boost
  • Vendetta - damage boost

Utility:
  • Enable Movement - makes you shadowstep or run to the target and puts you into melee range, not sure if i want to code in frontal / behind on this
  • Always use cooldowns - use you cooldowns listed above on any target other then bosses
  • Always stealth - always stealth when out of combat
  • use engineering Gloves - damage boost
  • use trinkets - damage boost
  • AoE and how many adds before you AoE - damage? boost

Other then that milestone, you even have the ability to change these settings on the fly - without restarting HB or the routine - and keep on trucking. Please keep in mind this is a PvE routine, and has not been safely tested for PvP by myself. All this is mainly for Assassination spec, will update the Sublety spec soon, and finally add in Combat spec. Still need to come up with a SVN, working on that currently.
 
Hey altec, thanks for the great effort ur putting into this. I tried it in MSV LFR 3rd with ilvl 489 using lazyraider had 80k dps when boss died first on dmg meter. I havent really played Assasination since icc but it looked really stable on the rotation but i thought i could pull more dps with my gear and weapons 483 dagger (500 agi gem) and 476 offhand dagger. I know it might not be optimized only for raiding purposes but just wanted to tell you its working great. If you can add options in utility to use tricks on cooldown or not and reccuperate when health <#% would be nice too. Thanks again!!
 
tricks of the trade is used on cd if you have a focus target and it is alive, as for recup / shiv heal, yea I will add an option for that, like an option for aoe
 
Yes I noticed it uses tricks on cd, but I why meant is having an option to turn it off and on.
 
I thought it was as simple as not having a focus target? if focus does not exist or is dead it will not cast
 
ehh not bad pulled 84k on stone guard 70k on feng not even gemed or reforged to mastery .. setup for combat just swaped to daggers .. not bad not bad .. using the latest 1.0
 
Added SVN to this routine. You can now select what poison you want to use, and when to refresh the poison. The default refresh timer is 10minutes left on the buff.
 
Have to say that I'm loving this, pulling top DPS for all rogues consistently in LFR, any plans for adding PVP support?

Thank you! I do not have any plans, currently, for PvP support. My main focus is to get the PvE support up and get all 3 specs fine tuned. Maybe after all 3 are optimized I would look into PvP aspect. I thought Maddog had the PvP rogue working.
 
His is sub only, it would be interesting to see an assassination pvp cr.
 
ok few things with the latest svn build .

when you hit escape to drop target it auto targets can u make this a option ? to auto target or not to ..

I have noticed this as well, but not from a recent update, but I will look into it. Not sure if this is a setting within HB or not. I don't recall adding in a target is target is lost, it might be a passive setting I loaded in without noticing.
 
Got Sublety spec on par with Assassination spec. SVN updated.
 
*edit* just did raid as assasination did 53k dps :) .. no idea what was happening last night . but works a treat
