you sure about that ? i was there, and glider was detected after tripwire ... their official position regarding it was that some sneaky code got included during the patch, and they were only monitoring warden. Either way, dont think thats relevant to whats happening right now. If your position is that your bot is safe, im sure you guys already checked the client for possible code targeting honorbuddy.

many of us us users but many of us as developers and ofc we had and we have a "red line" if we want to communicate with Merc or Hamut

Hehe, find it amusing when players blame OTHERS for THIER careless botting. Going on 4 accounts with 12 Level 90 toons. Leveled up and farming as we speak. Going on a couple of years now and STILL have not been banned. Not even given a suspension. LEARN TO BOT SMART! All kinds of stickies to help you with it.

personally and the rest Hb staff members we are testing/using (as it has to do with me i am doing it 24/7) all Hb modes

if you are botting 24/7 there are chances to get banned

if your toon is 90lvl and you never made an auction there are chances to get banned

if your are spamming AH there are chances to get banned

whatever you do that a normal players is impossible to do can get you banned

Yea... and my topic was deleted. That is just making, some people (like me), skeptical that there is something wrong and you (the entire team, not you in particular) are trying to hide it.
Why else would you delete the topic. You could have just replied to the topic like you did here and keep it in plain view so everyone can see it and take reassuring that the bot is truly not detectable, which I am still not convinced since there are people getting banned with in seconds after the hit start.

You guys are also denying that there is a ban wave or if you don't like this word we can call it an aggressive behavior from blizzard against honorbuddy.
Hundreds accounts where banned while using honorbuddy (and are still getting banned).

Personally i believe your jobs is not only to update the bot but also keeping your customers as safe as possible, either by turning the bot off or by new warnings (not 3 year old topics).
But its been a week now that the bans are ongoing and yet there wasn't even a single sticky topic to warn your customers about blizzard aggressive behavior.

A lot of people on this forum agree that blizzard did change something and its allowing them to ban people using the bot with in hours.

For example, I started a new battle chest account 2 days ago, new IP, new name, new email. I used kick profile and manage to get to level 11, took like 3~4 hours which i supervised, didn't got stuck anywhere, didn't got any whispers from any players and the account was banned 72h for 3rd party program. And i am not new at leveling bots, you can see how many bot licenses i own and I used the exact way that I used to level my old bots.
You honestly going to tell me that this ban doesn't seem fishy to you and is safe like always?
Maybe the dev team missed the thing (what ever that is) that blizzard changed and its targeting honorbuddy with out even you guys knowing about it.

You also need to take into consideration that we are paying customers and you (as a company) should take good criticism or bad criticism from your customers.
Its not like I cursed anyone in my deleted topic, I raised some concerns that a lot of people currently have about the safety of the bot.
By deleting this type of topics you are simply telling us that you don't care if we get banned or you are trying to contain bad criticism.

A sticky warning topic about the current aggressive blizzard behavior would have gone a long way to protect people from getting banned.

Anyway, personally I hope this is a temporary thing (like all the rest of the users here I imagine) and things will go back to normal soon.

tony why not stick to what you are good at, pasting the "how to attack logs" link to every support thread.

I know you claim to have some inside info but that banwave coming from code inside the wow client is an absolute fact. Numerous sources were monitoring Warden and it did not change nor was it monitoring the openbot / glider addresses. After the ban the new hidden code specific to detection in the wow client was quickly found. "lol"

On Warden: May 20th ban wave: WoW 2.4.2

As for you claim that you actually check new wow patches for detection code, I have no way to disprove it so whatever. You put out new HB version within a few hours of patches, and there are A LOT of patches lately sometimes one per day for several days, so I kind of doubt it.

At this point does it even matter if HB is detected? It's not, but what IS detected is using it to farm herbs and ore. Blizz is picking it up very effectively, server side, so doubt they even care about warden detection anymore. If anything it's better for them to keep subscribers interested by letting them use features like Lazybot, while banning farmers over and over forcing them to buy new licenses every few weeks.

Because the kids coming crying saying they want the bot updated... But I remember when bossland walked here, the aim was to farm bot / work ..not for joking (bgbuddy, dungeonbuddy, pets..etc..)
now is to play the dugenons .. the pvp .. arenas.. raids.. etc..

I miss having only Gatherbuddy that not everyone had access to it.
I still remember the bossland say that not everyone had access to Gatherbuddy. It was a smaller group .. Now who buys honorbuddy takes everything.

I think we don't have any reason to be mad on tony or anyone else in HB team. They did great job, but as i said 5 years ago, you can't make bot to be same like real person, and i was wondering 5 years ago why do blizzard let us use bot, because if someone take me and say "go find 300 bots per month" i will do it in 1 day i guess. Blizzard decided to ban us now because they need more MONEY so dont blame HB or yourself, try to make money doing something else. We are all sad because we can't continue making 100$ per day, but arguing with tony will not fix it, let him do his job and pray he will find some solution for all of us. If someone think that flaming tony will help, please send me PM with explanation for that and i will start flaming tony with you ^^ Joking! Go level new accounts and PRAY!
